Ekitis are the Aboriginal tribes in the south west. That's why it is the only homogeneous state in that geographical area. Ekiti and Bayelsa are the only homogeneous nation states in Nigeria |

Yorubas migrated to to the present nigeria today from east africa since the 15 century thier first settlement was ife were they found those artwork and tried to copy the faces in those artworks but they couldn't properly they could only copy the scarification on the artworks but couldn't copy the crowns untill after the creation of nigeria, thats why they never valued d artworks unlike the benins valued thiers, the only way they could manage in valuing the artworks and protect it was to bury them and worshiped it like thier gods, as s matter of fact at thier first arrival in the then nigeria the then oba of benin sort to colonized them You wonder why the ooni in the past never wore the crown worn by those ife artwork untik recently or even point out the people who made them, because they meant the artworks there the yorubas were the ones who are the foreigners not the artworks The original people of those yorubas were the benin ancestors who move down south for a better environment |
