PS: I have played TLOU2 as I purchased it from amazon via MallForAfrica and it’s a game in it’s own league. The characters are the writers and to me they didn’t mess either the old ones or the new. They just gave us the shock effect design to divide TLOU community and it worked and to me it’s ART; DARK ART per se. Think of it, if everyone wants a story to be linear then it may seems very boring and at large predictable. Why not tell a different story after all Ellie was an NPC before she was given a part to play.

What they did to Joel wasn’t nice but his path (death) set in motion the ultimate teenage actions of every teen out there (Ellie in this case) with enough firepower and let’s not forget vengeance. Abby was a fantastic character only hated because she did Joel dirty. Her decisions were vengeful, of which I understand because Joel stole the only thing she loved in an apocalyptic world.

If I was to score this game it won’t be a perfect 10 but a 8.5. While I love the gameplay, the graphics, the AI NPC, the overall mechanics, I detest the constant LGBT references like we didn’t already know from “TLOU left behind”, and worse the sex scene.

And finally remember Joel shot Marlene in cold blood even after she pleaded and promised never to come for Ellie if he spare her life in TLOU1. So probably Joel got Karma’d. I will still keep my copy and enjoy the art again before selling off to others to experience it.
