Bringing PDP back to Edo state is like going through second slavery. No! Not Edo!! PDP misrule the state until Oshiomole came to our rescue. It is unfortunate that Obaseki is faced Political downturn in his erstwhile party but bringing back PDP to Edo state is No
!No!! No!!! .quote author=JidennaJason post=91566182]The only hurdle before Godwin "Bruno" Obaseki is the corrupt INEC... The demonic APC in collaboration with the "Federal Powers" will manipulate INEC just to favour the cunning pastor.

Is this kind of write up that's making Gov. Obaseki very popular on all front.
Come down to Auchi and see how they are rejecting Gani Adams(APC Deputy Gov) aspirant.
I am not Edo and I didn't register here but from the look of things APC has lost Edo.
my friend do you stay in Auchi? I don't think so. so don't mention Auchi in your comment because Obaseki cannot win a single polling unit in Auchi. so be guarded please

What liver? Are the political situation in Edo the same as that of Lagos?

Ambode duly contested the APC primaries and lost in a free and fair election.

PDP is not strong in Lagos, infact APC owned most of all the House of assembly, House of rep, and senate seat in Lagos.

PDP have always been relegated in any election since 1999, so tell me how Ambode will win if he decamp to PDP? What will be his gain contesting and wasting money when it’s evident he will lose?

However in Edo case, APC&PDP always have 50/50% chance of wining elections over there so It make sense to Obaseki to decamp and try his luck.

Edo have been ruled by PDP before multiple times so it’s different from an APC totally controlled Lagos.

Again Edo is not Lagos in all ramification because Edo is a backward state while Lagos is a mega city!

Obaseki is lucky to have a deputy that knows how to play the game and one who is very popular with the grass-roots. The deputy has been working tirelessly with the political creme de la creme, youths, thugs, market women- you name it.

This election will be fought in all arenas. Yes the devilish APC party will bring the federal might along with its usual atrocities but these guys in edo state are battle prepared for them. This will be a fight to the finish
Phillip that did not win his polling unit in 2019 election. please don't give power to those that don't have it

Power actually belongs to the people not the party or cheiftains. Oshomole contesting in 2007 was voted for massively by the people because of the love they had for him, hence he won in the polls and subsequently in the court. Mimiko in Ondo state contested on the platform of a relatively unknown party, the Labour party and he won. Ambode no doubt was loved by lagosians but because of Godfatherism he was deprived a second term. He would have tested his popularity with another Party

Power belong to the people but political party might also is important in any election of a state.

That is why some parties cannot even win election even if they have a credible person on the ballot in a state simply because a party owns the state.

In Oyo state for example, PDP and APC have ruled multiple times and it is always 50/50 chances for any candidate of the party. If Ambode has been an Oyo Governor, he would have faced Tinubu and contest in PDP.

Ondo state is also a typical example, it is alternating between the Labor/PDP/APC block and it is always a 50/50 states during elections too. Ambode would have decamp there also it he was governor and Tinubu tell him nonsense.

However Lagos is a different case, it has been APC block since 1999, and all elected officials are like 95% APC.

You said people loved Ambode, but what is the percentage? Are those people gonna vote for him more than 50% on Election Day? What about the People that love APC? Won’t they also vote.

In Lagos, even the civil servants are card carrying members of APC and APC have penetrated through every parastatals In Lagos.

So Ambode contesting against APC in Lagos will ruin him completely!

Are u going to be at collation centere? Continue deceiving yourself. With rigging and popularly of Ize Iyamu, Obaseki has lost the election. Save this page, I will remind u. Edo is part of APC state and if u remember, APC just lost Bayelsa, it will not open it eye to Edo too. I can bet with everything, APC will win. It might be by rigging or otherwise, but APC is winning Edo election. Oshomonle is ready to put his last blood for it.

Sure, but it will be difficult for the FG this time, Edo youths will resist any form of intimidation and electoral malpractice... They're not blind to the glowing stupidity of Adams Oshiomhole and his gang of rigger's from Abuja and Kano.

Godwin Obaseki should also be smart this time.
