Aside the strip you should visit lake mead if you have the time.

When I visited in sept 2018, it was the same. I wondered why people choose to live in a hot place like that even Nigerians when they can easily move to a neighboring states.

Lol. Nigeria is not hot, well South west Nigeria that I'm used to.

When i first got to Vegas, I came out of the building. while waiting to be picked by my people, resting on the outside wall of the building, the heat was too much, I actually asked the person next to me if the building was a factory or they had oven inside, no jokes

I couldnt believe how hot it was, especially considering it was also the air that was very hot.

the reason why Chicago o'hare airport scrutiny is tough, people that got just visiting visas from the USA embassy from their country of origin to visit United States of America. but when they are checked in from arrival gate into USA community instead of them to do their visiting and go back to their country of origin, some will immediately proceed to Canada instantly they are being cleared to enter USA to go and seek for assylums, and Chicago o'hare airports is closer to Canada, that's why you must be ready for any questions the USA inland security asks from you.
so it is advisable to enter through airports like Atlanta Georgia, Miami, DC that are a bit far from Canada province.
