I'll try and be brief. I need your guidance please.

I and my wife sat for the IELTS in January 2020 (solely for the purpose of immigration to Canada) and I had the following result: L8.5 R8.5 W8.0 S7.0.

My plan was to do my credentials evaluation with WES, but NASU in University of Ibadan was on strike in February so I couldn't process my transcript. While I was hoping that NASU would call off its strike soonest, the national body of ASUU went on strike too, and shortly after that, COVID-19 brought the whole world to a standstill, momentarily.

Without me being able to process my transcript and put it out for evaluation (due to the raging pandemic and the ongoing strike action at the University of Ibadan), I will like to be enlightened on what steps I can still take regarding my intended immigration to Canada. Are there any other usefulness for my test score?

Thank you for your anticipated guidance

Please find out from others if the school have a link for online request and payment for transcripts.

Lol.
Looks more like the job description of a Cash and Teller Services Supervisor or Cash Officer. If he/she is actually doing that, he/she is been overworked jare.
HR will give normal teller job description in reference letter which would not contain all that this person listed.

You can't really say. Let him/her get the letter first. I have seen a situation where a head teller was actually the deputizing the HoP/CSM/BSM, especially in small branches that do not have a CTSS/Cash Officer/ABSM.

Meanwhile who is not even overworked in a typical Nigerian new generation bank branch operations setting?

1.study materials available at the secretariat.
2. Anyone can do it as the certificate level is almost equivalent to predegree in universities. You only need dedication to read and understand as CF2 is quite bulky.
3. According to their website, 4hrs study is needed weekly for a duration of 3 months for a certificate course but I feel more dedication is required since it's something you are newly introduced to.

There is no harm in adding your SOA. Mine was bulky as well, so I just got the letter from my bank stating my account balance and I attached a copy of the statement I downloaded online. For GTB there is usually a stamp affixed on the pdf format. Not sure of other banks though.

Good morning, please I sent a PM

Hi,

I know for a certainty that UI PG school still processes transcript during this pandemic, but partime/underground.
If them no tell u...u no go know.
I wont be surprised the UG work underground too perhaps 2 times a week.
If u can u sud go to the school urself, or ask more carefully around. As much as we dont want to encourage bribery, you'd be surprised how more helpful University staffs are with some incentive/tips in this pandemic.
Cheers

In d West, you finish eating at a restaurant or someone delivers your groceries, you give them TIPS. And no be play play money o by the time them collect from plenty people.

But my countri peopo, we call the same thing BRIBE. It's this upside-down nomenclature that's makes us think we r d most corrupt in d world.

Not attacking you Sir, I usually also see it as a bribe n not better than u. If I don't quote u, d point won't be made.

Please start your result verification. Then write ielts and TEF (french) since you studied french, you should do well. You may not need a masters by then. You can also do a short course like ACCA, CIMA or BCS. All these you can get done faster than your masters.

Tef gives you up to 54 points (its more than masters)

Acca etc gives 32 points

This response is very resourceful, thanks a bunch. Meanwhile do i also need to write IELTS and my husband does he need to take it too

Dear all,

My friend got the letter from GTBank HR but the reference letter stated a non-immigrant visa was required. Even though her letter stated she required a job reference letter. That clause in the letter calls for concern. How does she proceed? Does she inform HR that it’s for immigration purpose and get their feedback or does she explain I’m her LOE that her organization won’t give her a reference letter as long as she is still employee of GRBank

It is yet to open, based on the information on their website. https://www.vfsglobal.com/en/individuals/covid-19-customer-advisories.html

It is probably open for only those immigrating to other countries and not Canada.

No

Hello BeuHarry,

...hence, maintaining or retaining the tie breaker (time and date stamp) advantage is then only applicable to those updating their current profile and the linking of an old account to a new created one then only enables an applicant retain or maintain the old profile details instead of re-entry, right?!

More Grace!

Tipping and bribing are two different things. Call a spade a spade. The waiter at the restaurant or the delivery guy will do their duties regardless, so long as they are being paid by their employers. Tipping is some form of show of gratitude after service is rendered.

If the pizza store doesnt work on saturdays and you pay the delivery guy to find a way of getting into the store and getting pizza delivered to you, it's bribery.

I don bribe tire for this country, no be say i be saint. but make we call wetin something be as e be.

She can use the letter for non immigrant Visa and explain that she has submitted just that because it is her current employment and she would not like to put it at risk

Gain accrued to bypass a protocol is bribe, while a monetary value awarded after a service has been rendered is tip.

On the contrary, we give more tip in Nigeria than "the western world," and most of us won't call it a bribe while we present it.

Therefore, this has nothing to do with Nigerians' ignoramus nature, illiteracy or mindset.

We share nothing but one view; we are definitely not the most corrupt nationals, and one day, our dearest country will be void of cloud.

canada is working with their own quota not country of origin. They will grant those that applied and met all requirements. Increase or decrease is not in canada's hand but applicants.

I agree with your clear explanation of the difference Josh. Thanks sir
But ur optimism bothers on fantasy and ignorance Josh as the evidences suggests otherwise.

Good day all , does anyone know about the Wes fast track. Whereby you pay a certain amount for the hard copy of the verification to get to school on time. Unilag doesn’t respond to verifications till they have gotten the hard copy ... I just want to know if there’s a way and the how to fast track it such that the hard copy gets to unilag in days not the 8 weeks it takes...... Thank you .

Hello house, I had my Bsc evaluated but I took a diploma in French course (DELF A1) at Alliance Francaise. I had it verified and it was evaluated as one semester study by WES. I'd like to know if this can fly as two or more certificates.
A copy of the evaluation is attached.
