Dr. Joi Nunieh, former Interim Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC has reacted to various allegations leveled against her by the Minister of Niger Delta, Sen. Godswill Akpabio in an interview on Arise TV 'This Morning Show.' Nunieh has strongly disregarded Akpabio's claims.

Dr. Joy Nunieh alleged that Akpabio tried every means to make her take a blood oath of secrecy while in office.

In her words, “Godswill Akpabio wanted me to take a blood oath of secrecy in Abuja.”

Nunieh claimed Sen. Akpabio attempted to take advantage of her as a woman to get down on her after she refused to yield to his manipulations.

She further said, “I am the only woman in Nigeria to have slapped Akpabio” – says Dr Joi Nunieh, detailing the incident when Minister Godswill Akpabio wanted to take advantage of her.”[/quote]
