I go to FirstBank. On my way back, I "tipped" d mopol at d gate #500.

If I to come to use d ATM later in the day n I told mopol that I am in a hurry. Mopol will "carry me" over other people in put me in front. Of course I will give him even more "tip" as you like to call it.

Using your example, before a delivery guy will agree to break protocol for me, it must have been because I have been tipping him. He is breaking the protocol cos of a future monetary gain.

If a girl has been serving me beer and I always tip her, the next time there is queue n I tell her I need my beer chilled n fast, she will find a way to sneak it to me before others. When d waiter is counting her money at close of work, will she label d cash I gave her as a bribe or as a "tip or blessing?"

If I always tip a Uber n one day I called his line directly to pick me up. This means he is making money off of a connection that Uber afforded him while not cutting Uber their share.

Tip is like the younger brother to bribery. The end goal of tipping is usually to make the person to more readily break a protocol for u on a later date even tho this might not be your initial intentions.

Tipping is a form of compromise just like bribery.

Do you want to play by the rules in its entirety or do you want to selectively play by the rules?

One country kills a person, u call it murder. Another country does d exact same, u call it "eliminating a terrorist." Does it change d fact that they both killed? It's just a nonsensical nomenclature where u choose what word suits you.

Africa!!! Wake up.

These examples are not the same o!

Let me further break it down and when you get to Canada you will understand better. Not all western countries practise "tipping", the ones that do, the workers will work as normal and "if" you feel like giving them extra cash without any ulterior motive then that is a tip. Some companies have "tip" printed on their receipts.

Surprisingly, the workers do not compromise their cores and values, they follow strict procedures to serve their customers, no short cuts because of tips. The thing they can do is priority services which you would have to pay the "company" more.

In the UK, hardly will you see anyone giving tips, never seen.

Our naija own, if you don't bribe, even when they know it's their duty as workers in an organization, they will delay you for others that have bribed, have better connections and influence.

Elderly people and pregnant women will have to stay on the damn queue before entering the bank, just let big boy come, you will see the respect and privilege he'd get.

The Uber example you gave, you said it yourself, you called his direct line, off Uber o. Some might even decline for security purpose and everything also boils down to the fact that every version of abroad companies here has a touch of naija in it. The laws can't be the same because of difference in culture of the geographic location.

Bribe is bribe and nothing more. We should learn to be diligent and be ready to unlearn being Africans.

Hello Guys, I don't know if anyone can help me over here.
I'm looking for contacts to someone that can assist me to send my University of Ibadan Undergraduate transcripts and Certificate to WES, I have been stuck on this stage for some months now and I'm willing to explore all alternatives

COPR2020:

Lets be careful here. The one that flies before although sometimes rejected was "completion of college certificate(one semester), take note of the completion here. But this one, WES indicated it straight that ots a One semester undergraduate study(meaning it was not completed). My analysis might be wrong though and she can give it a try too

I said what I said cuz I know someone who used it and it worked..that was why I said i am 95% sure...But if the OP doesn't want to use it, FINE.

Good day everyone. Has anyone tried this method of submission for IQAS? I just saw it this morning.

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Cannylady: 11:15am On Jul 14, 2020
MBBS verification is faster than WES, especially if you submit all required documents properly.
I did this for my husband and it took 2 months to get ECA.
My 2 cents

author=ExpressEntry post=90875810]Hello Great people of Nairaland!

Please what is the right NOC for a Medical Doctor who used WES to evaluate Masters degree in Public Health instead of using MCC to evaluate MBBS.

However, work experience is in Primary Health Care Centre as a Medical Doctor for the past 5years but plans to use the Public Health qualification in Canada, thus the reason why it was evaluated and not MBBS.

Should the Express entry profile be focused on Medical practice even though the degree was not evaluated?

Our mentors in the house, please help out with this enquiry.

One could even argue that the main difference between the two acts is merely the timing of the gift: Tips follow the rendering of a service, whereas bribes precede it." There is a time distinction between a tip and a bribe, and also a moral distinction. BUSINESS INSIDER

A tip is given after and the amount you tip is usually related to how pleased you were. A bribe has nothing to do with paying someone for doing their job. A bribe is a way of convincing someone to do a favor for you. The bribe could be for any number or reasons, but each one is given to have something done for you. QUORA

I hope I won't be banned for this link? It gives more insight into TIPS and BRIBERY. I was shocked to learn that Tip means to Insure promptness

You can use Access but their rate is usually gangster. Sterling/Stanbic have better rates but limit is $1000. Convert to CAD and see if you can use that

Oga tip is entirely different from buribery and tip is recognised globally.

You only tip when someone has impressively served you. But you bribe to get a prefentual service.

Well, its your opinion. But it is clear enough that they are different.

If a TIP is mandatory then IMO, it's a bribe of some sorts. This i witnessed in Florida with reference to when I ordered for pizza from Papa John, the app had a place for tip. I was shocked, I was like you've not brought the pizza, you're asking for tip. I told my spouse to put $1 there o because the total price did not populate until you fill that tip part.

Finally my WES evaluation came out today and my National and higher national diploma was evaluated as two or more certificate.

My verification which was sent to my school since march was just concluded yesterday after many calls and Bribe(not tip biko because those guys purposely left my Verification because they wanted to extort me)

This country is a mess but I am happy I'm done with this step.

Good evening guys, I have been planning the Canadian PR for sometimes now and I have started preparing for the ielts. I want to register the exam next month. But recently I discover the CRS cut off has jumped to 478.And when I simulated my likely CRS it's only about 460.Do you think I should continue with the PROCESSING HOPING THE CRS cut off will reduce later? I have heard about certain programs like the PNP and the CEC but I do not really know how it works . I am a chartered accountant with an OND and a BSc.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Josephhh: 8:26pm On Jul 14, 2020
When you evaluate both with WES, it will give you 2 or more certificate which is a good start. Try and Max your IELTS, I think you have good chances afterwards. Read page 1, it has all you need...trust me.

He/She will only get 2 or more degrees if the OND wasn't used to gain admission(direct entry) for B.Sc... If it's D.E, it won't fly cus your OND will be your 100L transcript, which will be needed to complete your B.Sc evaluation as an equivalence of a Bachelors degree.

Birth certificate is not actually required for EE unless you are claiming sibling points. In that case, you need to get attestation of birth document from NPC office in your state capital.
