1. I never said Awolowo wanted secession, no read and comprehend!

2. I said Awolowo wanted and argued for a secession clause to be included in our constitution during Nigeria’s constitution conference debate In Lagos in 1954.

3. The 1954 conference is actually a resumption of the 1953 conference that took place in London. In both conferences Azikiwe argued against provision for a secession clause, the British agreed and sided with him because an indissoluble Nigeria is in British’s best interest.

Actually it won’t, all regions will sink into economic depression. There would be new power players, it is them that will decide how soon and what regions experience economic miracle.

Some regions (new countries) will remain perpetual poverty, no different from South Sudan or any other small country
