A Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced a former Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Executive Director (ED), Captain Ezekiel Bala Agaba, to seven years imprisonment for laundering N1.5 billion.

Agaba, who was in charge of Maritime, Safety and Shipping, was said to have looted the money from the agency.

I've been wondering how to respond to you because I'm not exactly certain if you think greed is corruption. So, let me deal with what you call greed.

Have you ever heard of Adam Smith? He is known as the Father of Capitalism and wrote a book called The Wealth of Nations from which the following is very well known quotation which I hope explains itself.
