Apollo, as you so clearly outlined, was not tutored by God himself, so I still don't see the relevance of the reference to this discussion at all... Honestly, forget it!
You are beginning to thrown tantrums because you have been shown twice where human being have been learning from each, which you erroneously claim is not allowed and that knowledge is to be impacted only and directly from God.

You have been given examples of the Ethiopia eunuch (i.e. black skinned man) learning from Stephen and Apollos learning from Priscilla and Aquila to see how they benefited from it and became more learned and better persons for the kingdom work.

"33“But this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD.
I will put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.
34No longer will each man teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,
‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD.
For I will forgive their iniquity and will remember their sins no more.”
"
- Jeremiah 31:33-34

Now the thing about the issue of Jeremiah 31:34 that you so sorely have misinterpreted, is that, it is saying because of God has agreed (i.e. a covenant) that upon the release of the Holy Spirit, it would not be necessary to for a neighbour to know God, the reason is because God says by the power He has released, people would know Him. This is confirmed by you, confessing that you got to know God, and without any human agency involved.

Make no mistake please, Jeremiah 31:34, is not advocating not to learn from God fearing fellow humans, but it is saying it wouldn't any longer be necessary, to first get to know God, through a second party or any other party. It will be because of the gift and move of the Holy Spirit for anyone to personally know God, and even more so, through the Holy Spirit, the law of God, will spiritually be written on people's hearts

Where did you think that the knowledge and information that Priscilla and Aquila made known to Apollos came from?

Please honestly, sincerely and truthfully answer this question nah
What was the source of Priscilla and Aquila's knowledge and information shared with Apollos? Was it devilish, from the devil or wholesome and godly, from God?

I have to admit that it is must be different for everyone. I come from an atheistic background, see, so was not a prayer to God for desires person nor a submit to God person since there were no Gods to pray to as far as I was concerned. But when Jesus grabbed me and I looked back, I saw that at every step of my life, everything I really needed was there for me through no design of my own. So, my relationship with God is not as my desire fulfiler - since God seems to want to fulfil my needs even when I stuck two fingers up to God - but as pointer of me in the wisest direction to go God.
I still don't pray because, personally, who the fuq am I to pressume to know the best desires to demand of God - I just let God make use of me instead knowing tables are prepared before me and my enemies and my neighbours to the Glory of the Lord God Almighty.
As long as it works for you, that's fine!
budaatum:
As you may have understood from the above, God reached me where I was, but if you doubt my atheism, go back before 2019 - though you might suspect I got on a fence way back. You'd in fact notice atheism in all my posts if you look carefully since God never purged me of what I know. I do not believe, for instance, and like seeing evidence so I know.
I don't doubt your atheism.
I used to be one myself, well, until sometime in the summer of 2017 when I started to notice there was some sort of force guiding my steps, even opening doors even when there were no doors to begin with. It wasn't until October of the same year that He showed up, my first real experience of the supernatural - I was even more willing to believe it was Aliens(eventually Chinese neuro-hackers) than to believe the Almighty wanted to have anything to do with me.
budaatum:
Yes, it "can happen to millions of other Nigerians who are desperate for God but not certain why they are still unable to reach the Father". Unfortunately, as I say, if satan can meddle in the Garden of Eden why wouldn't satan meddle in peoples' minds and make them unable to reach the Father?
I used to be a chronic doubter of all things "spiritual" and religious, ok. So, if Satan had anyone He meddled with a lot, it had to be people such as myself. But one thing is the many doubts he supposedly planted, in fact, aided in search to find and reach God.
If I hadn't doubted the lies I had heard from the many so-called Pastors/Preachers/Evangelists/GOs/Bishops/Primates/Pope/Priests etc, I would not have pushed ahead to find God himself.
If I had settled for the claims made by persons that the Bible is the "infallible" word of God, I would not have learned of the real truth of God, nor would I have found God.
If I had believed the lie that I was saved after being told that all I needed to do was "confess my sins and accept Jesus Christ", and then saying what they call the "prayer of salvation", I would not have found God, and filled by His Spirit.
I credit the doubts I had for helping lead me to God. Matter of fact, I believe God put them in my head so that after it all, I would reach Him.

Now, I honestly don't believe that Satan meddles with us as much as we love to claim. I mean He is after all a servant of God, so He will do that which God commands Him to do. Some claim doubts are Satan's department, I say, "OK".
My hope and belief is that God will step in, and remove the obstacles (the lying tongues) from the lives of His own if need be, in order that they learn of Him and about Him. If He, God, needs to send Satan in to plant doubts in the minds of the millions out there, in order to see them saved, why not? undecided
budaatum:
"Hoping and believing" does not cut muster, because, as I've said earlier, the work is plenty and arduous, and those who are capable of doing the work are few, because many are far too busy praying for their desires instead of praying for the needs of their neighbours, and definitely not for the needs of their enemies, that one would think the Law was "Love thyself"!
I don't believe it is for us to move ahead of God's plan. Waiting is a part of the process, I have learned. I myself have been waiting for just that since late 2017, and I am still waiting and itching to go... but His instructions are clear and I believe that anyone who wants to do the Will of God will trust and obey God; wait no matter how long it takes. Hoping, and believing that God will someday very very soon give me my matching orders is what I can do in the meantime.
As far as praying for our desires and needs, He practically commands it so why not? As far as praying for others, including my enemies, I find myself praying for God's Will in their lives after all I don't know their deepest desires or most urgent needs. He does. I don't know what best suits their condition in life, He does. But when it comes to my prayers, woohoo... I pray with details so that when it does show up, I will know it.
budaatum:
Some, however, [must] go further and put on full armor and stand against the devil’s schemes.
Sorry I chopped off the rest but I have the feeling you already know if I have studied Paul.
I don't believe in the "devil" because I know what it really is, so I instead focus all that energy instead on Jesus Christ who after all will take care of it all. I mean, have you read Psalm 91? There is practically nothing to fear when God Himself is on your side.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
- Genesis 1:1

"1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2He was with God in the beginning.
3Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.
"
John 1:1-3

"15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

First, let us be clear on "believe". Please know that what I hear when it is used is, " I don't really know nor do I have any evidence whatsoever but
currently choose to hold this as so pending evidence so I may know". Basically, you are hypothesising, as in, providing an explanation or understanding made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation you intend to do.

That said, the devil being that which makes humans do evil - if you'd accept that as a basic definition s must exist or humans would not do evil just as no God would likely mean no good. When I steal, the devil inside me made me steal, and when I do not love my enemies, the devil in me stops me loving my enemies, but if Christ is inside me I will not steal I'll have no enemies and the devil fails.

Kobojunkie:

I don't believe in God so I'd hardly believe in the devil I would have thought. And I don't fear, not even God, Olaadegbu would confirm if nothing else about me.

One does not focus any energy on devils, kobojunkie, not after one has faced it on the mountain and sent it scuttling away, but that thing stops "millions of other Nigerians who are desperate for God but not certain why they are still unable to reach the Father" is the devil at work, and those God sends must know how to overcome it, hence, know the enemy, says I.

As for the Psalms. In my atheist days, I saw many of them as the insane dribblings of a demented person. If David trully wrote them, perhaps he should have obeyed God's will a little bit more instead of reaping the wages of his sins! Psalm 10 for instance starts with, Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? I can almost hear Christ say, "Seek, David! And stop being damn lazy! God foes not hide!" The rest of it though, is what I mean when I say, "tables are prepared before me and my enemies", fulfilled, with lots and lots and lots of evidence, because, as I said, I must see so non-believing me knows.

I don't think I'm putting this so it's easily understood, so sorry if I'm not clear. I'm told I go yoda and I can't seem to help it.

I find that I don't have enemies. No, I lie, I have one, or rather, one and a half. Muttleylaff being the one and Olaadegbu the half. But because goodness and mercy follows me everywhere I go they are not up to two. However, my sins are plenty so God does not allow me to serve penance praying for anyone, not even for myself. I'm given a small task to do instead. Not to solve "their deepest desires or most urgent needs" since I'm no Messiah, but that which God accomplishes.

I have always found "enemies" to be a waste of energy and an unnecessary burden for my mind as well. I didn't need any, back before I found God, and I don't intend for that to change now that I have.
But, if I had them, then I would pray for the Will of God to be done in their lives, since that is after all the best I can do for anyone really. undecided

I guess no love lost. We're even.

I just had to like and share this post

Always forgive your enemies, as nothing annoys them so much, besides that, a wise man gets more use from his enemies than a fool from his friends, but isn't it ironic, that your worst enemy could be your best friend and your best friend your worst enemy

Never annoy a NL poster or you will become the poison in his/her pen and the villain in every one of his/her posts

Enemies are springboards to your destiny. If Goliath wasn't an enemy to the Israelites, young David wouldn't have had the opportunity to shine and end up in the palace. Jesus, knew what He was talking about when He advised to love our enemies.

Friends ask you questions, enemies question you. Love your enemies, for they tell you your faults.

If I had believed it, I would have tested it so I know, but I've never had the need, least not since I thought like a child and spoke like a child and believed like a child. When I grew up I put childish things away, is what I think of it. The unbelieving atheist buda that God created would say, "fuq off" if told to believe, so God came with evidence to convince buda.

But, as I said, I personally do not pray, because, "who the fuq am I to pressume to know the best desires to demand of God". The point being, God provides whatever I require before I know I need it. That prayer of mine is already answered so I know.

You so fortunate. I guess I cheat. I don't ask for anything because I have all I need so its like 100% already. Things like world peace and everyone loving one another that I might have prayed for, God has been working on long before I was born and will continue working on long after I've turned to dust, and there's no point praying to the owner of a thing to be concerned about what it owns, I think.

I feel like asking why you are not looking at Jesus Christ himself but wouldn't because of course one must "look for what Jesus Christ showed His disciples". I ask instead, why do you say "ought to be"?

Kobojunkie:
I have been working on the testing myself, and it has not been easy at all. For it seems I have been in the waiting room on a lot of things for sometime now.
This is a time thing I found. And the experiences you consume, and by that I mean the ones you go through that add to who you are. Its like you are in a lab performing a chemistry experiment and a certain amount of time has to pass for the chemical reaction to occur. You can't rush it. And testing involves repeating it many times to be absolutely certain, so more time. It sure is worth the effort and diligence when you know.

Kobojunkie:
It would have been nice to compare experiences with others who have been, or maybe are in similar situations as I find myself but you know how it goes... I know what I am told but I can't help but continue to question what I hear even though I am meant to "Trust and Obey".
You should be grateful for NL! You are comparing.

"Trust and Obey" is a conflict for many. When Jesus was to deal with it, he first opened peoples' eyes because they must see what they obey so they don't make bread out of stones to relieve their own hunger or jump from a pinnacle and rely on angels to break their fall or worship Satan in return for all the kingdoms of the world.

Put me in the Garden of Eden and on day 1 I'm eating the Fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil despite God and even without a serpent because my eyes will open and I will see. I'm disobedient like that.

Kobojunkie:

One huge difficulty with Scripture is the complexity of the same word meaning different things according to context.

Jesus' "unless you become as a child" means, abandon all misconceptions and beliefs you may have so you become innocent as children are and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you anew. This he said was as difficult for most as a camel going through the needles eye. You should recall he was talking to believing Jews.

Where we are called to be "Children of God", we are first commanded to know God, but with that comes the realisation that God is infinite and we are finite hence an humility of Child, extending the regard we'd have for a parent Father God. He was talking to converts here.

When Paul says, "when I was a child, I spoke as a child", he talks of when he was stupid and ignorant and pompous and arrogant and called Saul. Then Jesus met him and he put those ways away and saw face to face and knew and now abideth Faith, Hope and the greatest of them all which is Charity

Simple word "child" with 3 different uses.

Kobojunkie:
Not tremble, but maybe be in awe of Him -- His greatness! undecided
The last time God awed me could best be described by the Story of Job with God and satan playing buda, move your toe.

Yes, I'm awed, but in no way does it relate to a feeling of fear that God would be so wasteful as to put so much effort in God's own creation just to destroy me. There's absolutely no reason for me to think that God could be so stupid to destroy me nor am I so irrational that I'd believe God would. And I don't intend to stupidly do anything to make God want to destroy me. Well, except that thing with muttley. But God will definitely give me a pass on that. I pray.

Know what? O Lord Almighty Father God give Kobojunkie the additional understanding of what it is that he may be missing in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ Thy Son I pray. Amen

I feel like asking why you are not looking at Jesus Christ himself but wouldn't because of course one must "look for what Jesus Christ showed His disciples". I ask instead, why do you say "ought to be"?
Aren't we meant to live as He lived, do the things He did, and more? You know, if I am to become a copy of Him, eventually.... lol
budaatum:
This is a time thing I found. And the experiences you consume, and by that I mean the ones you go through that add to who you are. Its like you are in a lab performing a chemistry experiment and a certain amount of time has to pass for the chemical reaction to occur. You can't rush it. And testing involves repeating it many times to be absolutely certain, so more time. It sure is worth the effort and diligence when you know.
I know it is a time-related in some way but is there an average on how long people take to learn whatever it is they need to learn before they are put out to work in the field or something?
budaatum:

I want this to work.
budaatum:
I get it!
budaatum:
The last time God awed me could best be described by the Story of Job with God and satan playing buda, move your toe.
Yes, I'm awed, but in no way does it relate to a feeling of fear that God would be so wasteful as to put so much effort in God's own creation just to destroy me. There's absolutely no reason for me to think that God could be so stupid to destroy me nor am I so irrational that I'd believe God would. And I don't intend to stupidly do anything to make God want to destroy me. Well, except that thing with muttley. But God will definitely give me a pass on that. I pray.

Not have a bed to sleep on, walk about with no shoes and ride on a donkey? Good luck with that.

I think we are meant to learn like he learned and do greate things, but I sure he'd be pleased with whatever we do.

Time related and person dependent too, which is why one may find in a week what another has sought for decades. God is most Merciful and Wise, I guess.

A slow car, lol! I suppose a donkey in those days might be the equivalent of a medium car these days, not a horse nor Mercedes of today, but a Peugeot or Mitsubishi, so perhaps not too slow since you can't wait.
God's time is best, and you will get there. IJN

If I had a nickel every time someone told me that, I would be rich enough to eat store-bought sushi for every meal/everyday. grin
