My Bank Shares. by OE0705(op): 10:19pm On Jul 15, 2020
I have some bank shares acquired by my parents when I was younger in the year 2007. The shares is worth 1500 units at 50kobo/unit, which is at FCMB.I need some answers as to that regards.
1. how do I go about getting it sold in exchange for cash?
2. how much would it be worth by now?
3. is it still going to be in existence?
4. I need some to explain to me the whole concept of shares buying from a company.

I need experienced economist or bankers' summations, thanks.

The price of FCMB today is 1.9 so your 1500 shares is worth N2,850. That's too small for all the stress involved in claiming the money. If you still want to go for it you will need letter of administration from a court, share certificate or CSCS statement and an account with a stock broker

Go to any stock broker and apply to open a cscs account. Also apply that your share certificate be demateralised. What this means is that the physical shares will be taken from you and it will then reflect in your cscs account.
You will need a bankers confirmation of your signature,
