i am blinded by money? you don't even know me and you think i am money monger? no one should get pregnant for an irresponsible man, just as no one should have a child with an irresponsible woman. and why should one having a child as a single mother bring any kind of stigma? people are not stigmatized because they did something wrong, but because they in their right senses decided to have a child. how do you think this kind of culture is fair?

I am not in support of any party (either male or female) who has a child out of wedlock. The culture you are talking about which implies stigmatization of my female folk was not initiated by me. We were born to meet it, you should also understand that generally the male folk already has a "face " that has been attached to them since time immemorial In our culture.
Haven said this I understand that "singlemotherhood" can be as a result of many circumstances, and the ones which I am familiar with includes:
1: A widow (a woman who loses her husband)
2: A divorcee
3: Most times as a result of r-ape cases.
The listed reasons makes more sense than some random lady who has decided to be wayward, and lack se-xual control of her life, who goes about getting pregnant because she wants to enjoy herself, and lacks morals.
We disagree to agree, and I want you to see the reasons of one being a single mum which I stated above.

i agree with you completely. but the ghetto lady or man who has a child out of wedlock is just that. and that is their problem because they are terrible people. but for someone like Linda or some other women or men, to have child out of wedlock, and then you call them irresponsible? that's cruel. so you can see that it is not the having a child out of wedlock that is the issue, but the individual character of the people in question. generally, these people even if they do not have a child out of wedlock, will still be terrible in other ways.


also, i understand we should not make cases for just about any body out there. i am well aware there are people who should not be allowed to have a child at all.

That's the thing as long as the daddy is a big boy most women won't mind getting pregnant for him.

That's why celebrities with multiple baby mamas still find women to impregnate.

What I've learned from this is that as long as you have money and influence you can do whatever you want.

Africans are not a different breed of humans. they can understand and they can improve.

but i get your point. it is important we do not make excuses for irresponsible people out there. little by little, i know we will come to understand it some day that just because an individual has a child outside wedlock is no reason to bad mouth them. i know in the future, we will be able to separate the difference between having a child outside wedlock, and irresponsible behaviour of men and women. i also know that in the future, whether an individual is married or not, in it self, will not raise eye brows. that in itself will not make them objects of ridicule. it will be just like wearing a white coloured cloth or a brown coloured cloth, completely inconsequential! just as sex outside of marriage has gained a bit of acceptance among us as a people. like it or not, many men today do not really care if their wife was a virgin or not before marrying them. in the past it wasn't so. this is improvement as the reason behind our choice of wife is fairer.
