Tinubu has a key. He has installed loyal ppl in strategic places most of whom are millionaires if not billionaires.
These people love Tinubu not because he is not corrupt but because he has done alot in their lives.
Ambode on the other hands had sent packing people who would have helped him same way they helped Fashola that Tinubu had no choice than to shield his sword. And he didn't have LAGOSians appeal that much
Ambode saw the writing on the wall. If he tried it, impeachment would be his first tussle to battle with. He won't survive the plot.

Like the Op said, I'd Tinubu is interested in that presidential ticket and it is not given to him, the party will die with Buhari.

100 Fayemi can't stand Tinubu. El Rufai has no good appeal in the North, Wike has wrecked Amaechi's once political sagacity so who else would, Osinbajo is a puppet he has no ball and can't even make a good President. So who else would Apc root for? In short, APC right now has no stronger person than Tinubu.

But the dice is this; I'm not sure Tinubu can win Atiku if PDP feats Atiku.

Hausas and hegemonic ground are Siamese twins. No one in the South either in the East or West apart from MKO has the Nationwide-cut-across honorable popularity. Not even Awolowo. Mko was rare. Was a man who spent money without thinking of it's benefits. But the likes of politicians of today will first weigh their choices before giving out money. During lockdown, was it hard for Tinubu to disburse food to locations in Lagos? Nah he would rather wait till election periods to disburse his big cash. He stinking rich.

But MKO would have tried to send food to the north East, west and his dormain South. Without a blink. The similarities between MKO and Tinubu were that they raised so much people. Tinubu used politics, Mko used influence and mere contact with him.

If any politician has the type money Atiku and Tinubu have and combine the magnanimity of MKO, any elections would be a wash over for such a man.

To your question: Atiku, to me has the sympathy of his people and the East more than Tinubu.
South west is the leverage of Tinubu. Well, they can bank on their rigging standards. If PDP really means business, they should feat Atiku or Kwakwanso!

But I will rather work for Tinubu than anyone! He will perform better than Atiku or anyone that i know of!
