This might be not be a coincidental encounter....

Many of the offstage banters and all are not necessarily staged. But they can be performances on the part of one or two of the boxers to promote their fight. It is not like either boxer received a script to act.

Boxing like every other sport thrives on promotions. But boxing is more of your business as is mine. So, if you have a fight, you have obligations to join in promoting it. That is why you will have boxers trash talking or saying something controversial to get their fans in the mood.

For example, Wilder saying he was going to kill Breazeale. Or Miller calling out Joshua's mother.

I know prefight conferences and some of the events before matches are exaggerated to drive up the hype....son!
