Oga Moses thanks man, I got the 120 hard drive and installed windows 10 and MS office 2007 for #3K at ikeja. The total cost was cheaper than I expected but I should be upgrading the ROM to something better in some months time.

You already have a great system specs, an intel core i7, 5th generation 2.6ghz processor speed, your system is faster and it is even an Hp elitebook. swapping it would only downgrade you, because you won't get a better offer, you will only end up getting a lower system specs like an core i3 or i5. of 2nd generation. is better you repair it, or sell it, save money, add it and even get a higher specs system than that one.

you have no problem, Hard disk are now very cheap nowadays. You could get a 500gb for #8,000 or #7,000

Yeah, a 500gb goes for as low as 6-7K. Gonna go for an upgrade later.
