Above is a quick list of Igbos in top APC membership, they have been in the party since its formation in 2015.

Notice that I did not include defectors like Andy Ubah, Arthur Eze, Orji Kalu.

For the legacy Igbos that were in APC in 2015 and till date.....are these people capable of winning votes for APC in their homeland?

There are five States in SE and APC failed to convincingly win Imo last election. It had to struggle in court to reclinch the State.

Ten Senators, only one is APC.

All the Igbo APC leaders are performing at below 20% in their own turf. They have failed to clinch additional state and even struggle to hold on to the one they won originally in 2015.

APC did not win any state in SE in 2019. The only APC senator from SE, Orji Kalu from Abia is a defector.

So the performance of Igbo APC in SE is a very sorry outcome.

If they are unable to win home States, how are they able to win away States?

It is a huge risk for APC to give its Presidential flag to Igbo....the loss will be a landmark across the nation.

The best opportunity Igbo has is in PDP. The calculation is not in your favor at all in APC.

Inputs are welcome.

No igbo APC or PDP member that is interested in the Presidency should he taken seriously if the governor of his state is in the opposition. Charity must begin at home.

I agree.

It is absurd and insulting for Igbo to ask for APC ticket.

Each state has 2 senators. A total of 10 senators in SE and none of them is a organic APC. The only one, Orji Kalu, in Abia is a donation from Fraternal Order of Looters of Nigeria.

Out of 5 governors, the only one, Hope Uzodimma, in Imo is a donation from Supreme Court to save grace for Igbo APC.

What is the use of Igbos in APC if they can't even score a goal at home?

Who in Yorubaland or Hausaland or MB will vote Igboman in APC when he is a reject in APC at home?

I need cogent reason to support giving APC ticket to Igbo in 2023.

Igbo this and Igbo that
Who gives a damn if APC gives Igbo tickets or not?
Certainly igbos like me don't care.
Allow us do our business in peace!
Referendum is another important thing.
Presidency no concern me

The silence of Igbo leaders towards 2023 presidency is giving some people heartache and sleepless night, while at it I'd urge them to open more thread about Igbo presidency and at the appropriate time we'd give them crumbs for the series of free campaign

What is this brouhaha about presidential candidate? I believe if kastinans had known that current happenings now is what Pmb presidency would bring to them, they would have preferred Jonathan.

Osibanjo is the vice president, Femi Gbajamiala is the speaker of house of reps, Fowler was the Chairman of Firs -I am still looking for how these have bettered the lives of the Yoruba masse.

You deny Igbos presidency,(true, only you do not have the capacity to so) thinking you want to hold them down still, some of you will still go to some Igbos to borrow you money. Is that not a shame?

After the shouts and positions in 2015 and now, the south west/Yorubas still have the highest numbers of suicides and suicide attempts, which are all as a of frustrations. Even if someone from the region becomes president, the case will still not change.
Apart from bragging rights, what does the ordinary Yoruba man gain?

You need sense Mr Op to think on how to generally better the lives of Nigerians rather than condescending your mind on regions.

Don't give yourself sick hope, only Jesus can wake dead bodies. You can't rip where you never sowed, let even put this straight bro, your life investment is being hijacked by Hausa and Yoruba men (Atiku, Kwankwaso, Saraki and co.)
So even in 2023 you will keep shouting Foul.
NB: Because I mentioned PDP as your life investment doesn't mean we don't know how Yoruba founded it.
Regards.

Metaphysical pain here is the unpredictability of the SE...

APC is confused if the SE is willing to go for the presidencial ticket or settle for the North while clinching VP.. this suspense rattles the APC SW.
