Oga Sir. President Trump is facing truckloads of criticism on a daily. Same goes for President Buhari & a whole lot of leaders out there. You're mentioning your "syndrome" because I have identified as an Akwa Ibomite. Sir, you're appealing to the emotions. No one is pulling anyone down. If you were in AKS between 2007 to 2015 when He was serving as the Governor you'd know better. If you choose not to see anything wrong in the way He dishes out his speeches...then no problem. That's you...but for me, I'd still submit that the man talks carelessly and without reasoning. He talks for people to clap for him and admire him for being so instinctlively eloquent in giving answers but a careful analyses of his responses leave one to wonder in bewilderment.

Back to the topic: His answer begs this two pertinent questions:

1. Is it ideal or justifiable to give out contracts to Law Makers ? If the answer is yes, then why is that tenable before the committee? Wasn't it necessary for the Ministry to carry out routine checks in order to ensure that these contracts would be firmly executed? This does not explain why they've been huge misappropriation of funds in the NDDC. It doesn't at all.

2. Is it ideal or justifiable to give out contracts to Law Makers? If the answer is no, then why were these contracts awarded under your watch? What was your role as the supervising minister at least within the period under consideration ? Why were such contracts awarded in the first place?

GOA is very good at "I will first implicate them before they shame me". That's it Sir.

Paying attention to emotions in governance is one of the reasons we are so so backward as a nation. I'm sure you know what 1Billion can do in your community, let alone more than 85Bn that was shared amongst a select few.

Seems you didn't understand my comments. His pushing for forensic auditing doesn't justify why huge sums of money was misappropriated under his watch as the supervising Minister.

Hope you're paying attention to the news. I am pretty sure you've heard his denial of the statement He made on Live Television.

To answer your question: I'm not saying his forensic auditing isn't commendable or not. My point is:

The Man is just too Garrulous...and He does that without rational thinking. Playing to the Gallery is one of it's distinctive attributes. That's all.
