The Federal Government says Work has commenced on Lagos -Kano Standard gauge rail line. This was contained in a tweet made by the Minister of Transport, Rt. Honourable Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

The Minister’s tweet said: “On site, contractors move in for the commencement of the Kano-Kaduna section of the Lagos to Kano rail line.”
Earlier, the Minister had disclosed during the inspection of Itakpe- Ajakwuta -Warri rail line that for the Lagos – Kano railway project, will employ over 10,000 workers.

Why don't you get your information ready first before posting it? If the Lagos metro line is not completed this term get that governor out of Lagos.

This is just beautiful.

At the end of the whole project, moving people and goods from Kano - Kaduna - Abuja - Lagos ports will be a piece of cake; decongesting roads, boosting trade, productivity, industry & industrialization. The future is bright for Nigeria.

Kudos to Amaechi & our darling daddy President Buhari.

Amaechi following the footstep of his elder brother Jonathan by developing other people's land and leaving his own house to fall. Atleast the rail track from ph to aba is generating enough money for them, why not lay new tracks there.

Jokers as usual, they haven't finished Lagos ibadan rail and road projects, it's lbadan Kano rail they are jump starting, confused Government, up till now Lagos ibadan railway is yet to take off, Lagos ibadan road project had been on since the Era of Jonathan, BUHARI is on his second term the road project still haven't anywhere nearing completion

It has not been completed. The stations are not ready . In my own area, we are still doing merry go round because the bridge has not been completed.
