Glare247:I can swear that if the election is free and fair. eyitayo will win, but as usual 9ja election. Apc will not want to lose another state in South west. Aketi actually shoot himself. The students can never vote for him The pregnancy and women that has children below 6yrs won't vote for him except his party women sha. |

Glare247:If Eyitayo becomes PDP flag bearer, then he is the one I'm voting for. Do you know some people in Ondo State are currently paid 32% salary? While some don't receive anything at all. Also, the current governor have converted the state hospital in both Akure and Ondo to a teaching hospital for the university of medicine I'm Ondo, despite the university having its own hospital. So, everything there, from tests to consultation is now expensive. Also, as at the last time I heard, the staffs of that university(including the doctors and nurses) have not been paid their salary for a long period of time. They went on strike and were all giving query. Also, don't forget the school fees increment of AAUA and OSUTECH. All in all, we are tired of 2nd term in Ondo State. Mimiko got it and messed up big time. |
| Re: Ondo State Governorship Primary Election: Counting Begins by Ayemileto(m): 12:28am On Jul 23, 2020 |
Seerade029:Yes. Even the people he is owing salary won't vote for him. But as usual in Nigeria, he might want to buy votes, or rig himself in. |

Glare247:I heard Eyitayo is a gentleman who likes things done the right way, but he's not a grassroot politician. I think he'll make a good Governor. He needs to brace up, otherwise his softness will see Akeredolu sweep him aside. APC/Akeredolu are rugged - they will do anything to win the election - money, security etc. |

Aketi will sell Ondo state to igbos if he should get a second term. In fact Ondo state indigenes will regret making such a mistake. This first term deeds of his will be nothing compared to what he will do in his second term |

DeLaRue:Mimiko tenure school fees were 25 - 30k Free health care for children of 0 - 5yrs of age Free transportation buses for public students (they were plenty oooo) Free waec fees Built mega schools The conference centre where the apc and PDP had their primaries nah mimiko built am Salaries unpaid No recruitment of teachers Aketi tenure School fees 250 - 300k Paying 20 - 40k for health or so Transportation buses now reduced to 2 or 1 in some local governments they students now pay #20 or #50 self. Students now pay waec fees Mega schools not renovated, only few sha Doesn't know how to talk. Salaries unpaid No recruitment of teachers. Now judge it. |
| Re: Ondo State Governorship Primary Election: Counting Begins by DeLaRue: 12:39am On Jul 23, 2020 |
nothingspoil70:If he wins Jegede will probably be in the mold of Fashola, except without Lagos - type revenue - which is unfortunate. Jegede will want to do the right things for the State without getting involved in too much politics. Bad news for political hangers - on as there will be no money thrown around. |

Seerade029:@ bold, not good. I can see why many ordinary people are not impressed with the dramatic changes he introduced. |

| Re: Ondo State Governorship Primary Election: Counting Begins by Seerade029: 12:47am On Jul 23, 2020 |
DeLaRue:The only dramatic changes he introduced which I know is Ore industrial hub. I heard he gave 1million cocoa seeds to farmers And the shady flyover he built. Even the Mare festival that is usually organized annually which people from all over Nigeria and some white men used to come and watch at idanre, the festival has been put on Hold, I don't know what happened to it self. And it generates income from tourism. |

[quote author=Seerade029 post=92001114]Reports from, Dome Akure says the battle is fierce between two of them sha. I'm placing my bet on Eyitayo tho. That Agboola just come to scatter PDP like Jimoh Ibrahim did in 2016 ![]() Don't why the PDP leaders ain't noticing. May the Eyitayo is the winner with 888 votes and Agboola 657 votes |
| Re: Ondo State Governorship Primary Election: Counting Begins by benicta(f): 2:43am On Jul 23, 2020 |
Davoneskay:This looks kinda fair. The gap between eyitayo and agboola isn't that wide as compared to that of the APC primaries. I really pray eyitayo wins laslas and after using four years too, he should get out and let someone else occupy the position. |

Seerade029:Hmmm, im still shocked. Back to 2016 again. Ondo south leaders are not united. Third force should be solution. Agboola or Oke should look for another party such as AD or SDP. |
