I never go out my way to look for horror manga/anime I only read/watch if I stumble upon them or it gets repeatedly recommended to me because although I'm aware I'll enjoy it (sometimes a lot) if it's good but those kind of works just aren't really my cup of tea...its the same for sad AF slice of life anime - feels too real and depressing - I only give highly recommend ones a reluctant peek (even though I know I'll really enjoy it...) -
PS: isn't going out your way to find something to scare/depress you quite masochistic...though I can't complain since I also end up enjoying such experiences...

I completely get what you're saying. That's why it is important to pace yourself when reading it watching these kinds of stuff. Watch an episode or two of a sad show like 3-Gatsu no Lion then dilute it with something positive like Maid Dragon. The beans and garri approach has never failed me.

Hello yall, I have been seeing animes for a while now but I dived in fully in 2020 when lock down came.... Lol
I completed or watched to the latest anime seasons the ffg Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, death note, attack on titan, Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood, one punch man, hunter x hunter, Avatar last air bender,

I started and stopped the following along the line for different reasons,
black lagoon, boruto, bleach, dragon ball z.
I wasn't feeling black lagoons story, boruto was boring, bleach has hope and good ratings & I can probably continue if there's no other anime to watch, DBZ looks nice but the animation looks old so I kindda gave up but like bleach, I can continue if there's no anime to watch that interests me.

Am currently on Mob psycho 100 S2, Claymore, Goblin Slayer, Samurai Champloo.... I'm definitely feeling mob psycho and samurai Champloo, not sure if I would continue with Claymore and Goblin Slayer.

I loved Naruto and Naruto Shippuden a lot but cuz it's lengthy I would rank them according to my personal preferences like this,
Attack on Titan my number 1 spot
One punch man,
Hunter x Hunter,
Naruto Shippuden & Naruto,
Avatar: last air bender,
Death Note
Full metal Alchemist brotherhood... This series has very high ratings along with death note but I was not as thrilled watching it like the rest probably because I love action/fighting animes and prefer fast paced animes like one punch man.
Pls, can anyone recommend top action animes preferably fast paced, with atleast a decent story line.. Thank u

this sounds sensible but won't work for me because if I don't finish an anime (that's completed) at once and go on to watch something else I won't go back to it...

Currently reading Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals. It's a spin-off of the main series and is set 5 years. It follows a guy named Koichi who teams up with quirkless badass, Knuckleduster and a wannabe musician, Pop Step to solve street-level crime as vigilantes.

I'd put it on par with the main series. While it's story arcs aren't quite as engaging, I find the characterization of its the cast it introduces to be more nuanced. Koichi is less of a bleeding heart protagonist than Deku. He and Pop Step (who are obviously the one true ship) actually play off each other really well and actually seen to have genuine chemistry. Knuckleduster has an interesting backstory and even supporting characters like Makoto and Captain Celebrity have more depth than you'd originally think.

It's not without flaws though. I feel like it is a little hit or miss with characters from the main series that appear here. All Might didn't have to meet Tsukauchi in this series because their friendship in the main series makes less sense when they've only known each other for five years. I also think that Stain was handled poorly. However, Ingenium, Aizawa, and Midnight were all handled well (even though Midnight has strong pedo vibes).

All in all, if you like the main series chances are that you'll like this one too.

I love the knuckleduster guy.
He proves that someone can still kick ass without superpowers, although he used to have one.
I've already caught up with the chapter releases and waiting to see how things go down in the current arc.

Watched Castlevania.
Season 1 & 2 were alright
Season 3 was trash IMO.
Better visuals that your average anime (I know it's not technically an anime, but who cares), really good action scenes. Basically above average production quality.
Season 1 & 2 story was compelling as well. 8.5/10
Voice acting was a bit meh, hated that character that was suppose to be a Viking, but somehow had a Texian accent.

Your summary is on point. I actually prefer Koichi to Deku as an MC. I hope he makes an appearance in the main series someday. And yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed Midnight weird vibes (how the hell is she a hero lol).

I love the way the plot ties in with the main series. For example, the Aizawa and Present Mic reveal.

I feel like the series is coming to an end, though.

Boku no Hero Academia: Heroes Rising - 7/10

Todoroki Shoto was really underrated in the movie, I don't know why kacchan is rated over him.

he can't take risks......on one side to defeat an enemy at all costs.....apart from Kacchan knowing deku's secret...there are certain scenerios when fighting an enemy that only the MC (Deku) has a better chance in defeating the enemy when he's with Kacchan (they have better synergy) that when Deku is with Todoroki!

Dracula's arc ended in season 2. Season 3 explores the events and fallout following his death.
Hell! With what St. Germain saw, Dracula's arc may not even be over yet.

Season 2 was just the beginning. The game franchise that the series is based on still has a rich story to be told according to it's fans.

Not to sure about a season 4 though since the showrunner recently got metoo'd.
