Why Is There No South East Governor At The Ongoing Inauguration In Benin by Bodexman(op): 2:18pm On Jul 25, 2020

The inauguration of Godwin Obaseki & Philip Shaibu PDP's Governorship campaign is currently on in Benin, and some PDP governors and other political leaders from all regions were represented except eastern region.

The list of the governors present is as follows:
Gov Wike from Rivers
Gov Okowa from Delta
Gov Makinde from Oyo
Gov Tambuwa from Sokoto
Gov Bala Mohammed from Bauchi
Gov Diri from Bayelsa.

And other political leaders across the nation.

I believe this is their time to take hold of the structures of the party.

The inauguration of Godwin Obaseki & Philip Shaibu PDP's Governorship campaign is currently on in Benin, and some PDP governors and other political leaders from all regions were represented except eastern region.

The list of the governors present is as follows:
Gov Wike from Rivers
Gov Okowa from Delta
Gov Makinde from Oyo
Gov Tambuwa from Sokoto
Gov Bala Mohammed from Bauchi
Gov Diri from Bayelsa.

And other political leaders across the nation.

I believe this is their time to take hold of the structures of the party.

South east governors are demanding for 2023 presidential ticket from the party which is against the permutation of powers controlling the party.

If them come now you go claim Biafra encroachment, land grabbers. The real Igbo leaders do not want any embarrassment from SS people. Let them play their politics in peace and elect their leaders. Our involvement would be tagged Igbo widening their influence into our land, sectarian championships will rear their ugly heads. Please allow Igbo governors to have their peace away from anti-igbo sentiments in SS. Do your politics in peace.

Really? That's weird because SE ipobs are Obaseki's biggest supporters, especially online. 97.87324561567% of igbos/ipobs on social media support Obaseki.

Learn to separate ipobs from igbos. All Igbos are not ipobs, most Igbos are not. I myself I am not. SS people have continually expressed their distrust for every action we undertake in their region so i think it's wise on the part of our leaders to avoid taking any part in their leadership elections.

They know that not every Igbo person is with IPOB but it's their way of insulting Igbos without being sanctioned

He visited Wike, Tambuwal, Okowa, Udom. Of all the governors he visited only udom didn't make it. Let Igbo governors who he didn't honor allow him battle his battle abeg. Goodluck to him and Ize-Iyamu.

I agree. Our son Ifeanyi Okowa is holding forte there. He'll pass us the minute of the ceremony when he's back to Asaba. SE Governors are holding forte with Abuja politicians and in few months from now our allies in the SW will hear from us.
