You see there are different kinds of income: earned income, portfolio income and passive income.


Earned income is what you make from working at a job.


Portfolio income is income you earn from paper assets like stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Passive income is income you earn from real estate, royalties on your intellectual property like books, music etc.


Your goal should be to earn your income from the passive income category as soon as you can. Passive income means that you don't have to work another day of your life, yet you still make money.


And in the age of internet, you don't need large capital to start a business that will bring you passive income and you can even start without capital and invest your earning in business that will bring you passive income.


But i see a lot of people makes the mistakes of wanting to earn without skill or knowledge of how the business work, imagine you don't pay school fee, how would you have been in that Job presently?

You should work hard when you are young to accumulate assets which will produce passive income for you when you no longer possess your present level of energy. You don't have to work hard all your life to make money.


Many people are waiting for the right time to come, before they would invest their money or start a business but i'll be honest with you that time will never come.


The Bible in Ecclesiastes 11:4 says 'If you look at circumstances you will never get anything done'


Most people spent their money as if tomorrow would never come or there will not be no financial emergencies and they paid dearly for it.
