True love or however humans put is above all and it's supposed to see beyond what is at hand, of course I am not against women hoping to get married to rich men but it shouldn't just be that. That is not just being materialistic, that is selfishness and selfcenteredness.
Would you just toss a good man in the trash because of his current situations? Situations that can change within a blink.
If all a woman desires is a rich man that will offset her bills, there is something wrong somewhere with the whole setting.
When he isn't materially advantageous to her anymore, the relationship is as good as dead.

Let me start with, in the past arguments that have ensued on this thread about feminism/slay queens/unnecessary comparisons/YadaYadaYada. There is only one thing that has picked my interest and that's that you always claim your assertions are born out of personal experience. Permit me to do same here too.
Firstly, the only difference between some of us here and the Almajiris in Gombe begging to make a living or an Opoh in Benin fucking to make a living is the grace that has found us. So I'm always very careful to talk about topics like this that may look like I am abusing 'Grace' and intimidating others with it. That is why I said, I won't broke shame you nor insult you for being broke but sorry it doesn't have to be me. Look elsewhere for your type. And I wonder what's up with the double standards too, you can preach against gold diggers but it's wrong when a woman preaches against broke men? Who no like better things?

Away from the above, it is my duty to ALWAYS desire the total best, emphasis on the best. No average, no half, no almost full, nothing less, just the total best. I would never be a liability, I won't be a woman that will only receive and not give or receive without caring how much is left, I won't be a woman that will only sit back and feed off the proceeds of a man always. That is why I do 8-5, do steady deliveries and always look around to see what I will do to earn more as far it's legal and legit. If a man won't have money to treat me right, won't he have enough to beat every financial insecurity? It is a win win for the man, not like he is making the money to earn the love of his woman. I was 19 when I met Bobo but didn't date until 21. That two years was to know most necessary details about him, not the I AM THIS AND THAT TALK. TO SEE HIM AND KNOW HIM WITHOUT A WORD. We won't be here if he was the type that idly sits by and expect a miracle. I was barely 20 when he introduced me to several lucrative businesses, that means he had a lot already going on. I knew he's my man, not like he had millions but I have already seen yielding prospects. He has several standards that I adjusted to fit in which contributed greatly to what I may have become so far. He had expectations and I had mine too, we were able to merge things together and fix a lot of differences. So please, I insist I will never settle for anything less and I'm glad grace got me.
I always aim for 10/10 and that isn't selfishness.
