I'm a South-Westerner living in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State and I can attest to the infrastructural development and transformation of the state by Governor Dave Umahi.

He is also building a massive modern hospital called the ebonyi state teaching hospital look at the scale of the development.

One Oil producing state in the east could not build its university teaching hospital it established about 17 years ago. Its teaching hospital exists only in name. Parochial clan things are behind it.

With his small allocation, he has built more solid roads than Ogun and Lagos put together, mind you his roads are to last for 60years.

Who are you deceiving?

He isn’t lying the roads are 8 inches thick, it takes many years to wear concrete roads that thick down And he has built over 1000km of roads in 5 years, I am sure amosun didn’t do the any amount similar to that during his tenure. And he still has three years left to go, airport, two new hospitals, agro processing zones, salt factory, waste recycling plant, rice mills, investment into solid minerals what is he doing that doesn’t make him one of the best in Nigeria.

Kudos to Dave Umahi! He has shown that with vision, prudence and sincere desire to improve things, a lot can be achieved with the financial resource available.

Everybody is claiming to build the largest Mall in west Africa...abeokuta dey claim largest mall, Ebonyi dey claim largest mall, some other states to dey claim largest mall.

Make una no go dey build malls wey nobody go green rent at the end of the day. A lot of Nigerians are poor and suffering. Look at tejuosho mall, nobody teach dem before them start to rent shops and even shedding spaces for front of the mall. They had to reduce the price drastically for people to be able to afford it. The mall don turn open market.

Gov Umahi is not only brilliant but also a good manager of scarce funds.
He arranges his projects in order of priority.

He has just completed an ultra modern water supply project in EBONYI state.
In one oil producing state in the east, there is no modern system for public water supply except for the state capital. Private water boreholes reign all over the state.

Umahi is doing better than many governors but you should realise if Lagos or even Ogun state were to post these kind of photos , they would be termed underwhelming.

Lagos I understand, but which Ogun State

Ota, Mowe, Ifo, ABK or what

Ogun state is a huge disappointment, considering the potential and nearness to Lagos State.

all these developments with sparse settlements. where are even the pple of Ebonyi? oh i forgot some are in anambra, enugu, Lagos hawking and doing keke biz..good biz. they should start thinking of coming home and develop their land with mighty edifice and biz structures. who are their prominent sons and daughters apart from Anyim Pius?

The states with the best landscapes have fewer inhabitants or have most of their indigenes in other states thereby leaving their states laying in waste and dormancy. Ebonyi state has one of the beautiful landscape in SE with less or zero erosions but no viable development by her indigenes...they all left. This isn't same for her sister state Anambra state with less land mass and threatened by gullys...though with so much human investments and more populated than Ebonyi and densely populated...If only Anambra could have an exchange with Ebonyi grin. No state is perfect, anyways.

Just writing NONSENSE

This is commendable.
Even if the money is borrowed, at least we know what it was used for.

But he must ensure non of these projects is abadone.

Kudos to Ebonyians.

Might join you soon from Cross River where nothing is happening.

I strongly believe with the level of construction work going on, economic activities will be at its peak.

I cannot believe that a rational person will defend Ogun State government.

Alagbole-Akute road construction has been on for the past 7 years after they pulled down people's houses without compensation.

It's even painful that Agbara that generates a significant fraction of Ogun State revenue has bad roads littered all over the place.

Sincerely, I don't know what Ogun State government is doing with her huge internally generated revenue
