I experienced it twice on Nairaland yesterday. I couldn't open a certain topic on the front page. It happened on my opera mini browser

Noticed it on opera mini since last week
And if you don't provide the information and Refresh the page the form will still come out

I used an infinix device, tried opening one of the topics on FP. The form popped up for about 3 times while trying to open that particular topic, threatening that my account will be banned if I don't fill it..
I use Airtel network and Operamini browser.

when I reload it, it was still insisting for details, just filled it because I thought it was for authentication .

I'd you haven't, use the logout(all) feature (click on the "all" not logout) and change your password ASAP. I hope you didn't input the email address you used for the account?

DO NOT PUT IN YOUR LOGIN DETAILS ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN THE LOGIN BAR

I was using itel p33
With opera mini browser.
I was trying to open that BB naija thread on fp where wathoni got pregnant as a virgin.
I'm using mtn sim.

I Experienced It too yesterday, at about 1pm or thereabout. I Suspected foul play so i didn't fill in my log in details.

They didn't ask for the email address.
Just the NL username and password.

Exactly. I think it has to do with the browser they use. See all the complaints pointing to the use of the opera browser just shows the security of that browser is compromised. I use Google chrome on my phone, tablet and laptop and I have never experienced such.

Have never experienced anything like that on chrome.
But opera mini like pop ups and scam links. And it gets worse when your data Saving mode is set at extreme, some features wich should help you spot or cancel those pop ups do not show
