Not just any European car, Volvo is arguably the toughest auto brand in the world. You can't expect cars like Renault, Citroen etc to last that long, those ones are worse than Japanese.

Japanese cars are only preferred here because of the poor knowledge base of Nigerian mechanics. Once they spoil your European car for you, they'll advise you with their popular line: oga I go advise you to buy Toyota for peace of mind
