Please I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla and I’ve come to notice of recent that my car accelerates by itself when not on motion. The acceleration atimes goes so high that I will have to quickly turn off the ignition. Please what could be the cause of this?

If you have electronic throttle body, it is the culprit, change it and check for vacum leak at the intake manifold.
