A pregnant woman and her little kid have been crushed to death by a trailer in Ebonyi State.

IGBERE TV gathered that the woman and her little kid were on their way to a popular market located in Ndubia, Izzi local government area of Ebonyi State to sell cassava in order to pay hospital bills of her sick child.

As at the time of filing this report, the community has been thrown into mourning as the conductor of the vehicle has been rushed to St-Vincent Hospital Ndubia for medical treatment.

According to an eyewitness who shared the report to IGBERE TV correspondent, the driver of the vehicle is not injured but has rushed to a police station to avoid being attacked by angry mob.

That Abakaliki-Ogoja highway has recorded many accidents since the road was reconstructed. Most of this mad trailer drivers speed recklessly on that road not minding the cluster communities that littered on both sides of the road.

Every accident in Nigerian is %80 avoidable, Most vehicles on Nigerian roads shouldn't be on the road. they are all scrap metals. most of them has no horn, no brakes, no headlights, no side signals, no trunk, no frame, no rear lights and no engine but they are on the road, they are all coffins,morgues and graves on wheels some of them don't even have wheels and their doors, windscreens are either cracked or falling off.

Nigerian drivers has no license, no insurance, no driving exprience, no nothing.

They are ussually drunk, too tired to drive, speeding, driving on the wrong side of the roads, no seat belt, no nothing.

In nigeria there are no driving rules, no traffic lights, no road signs, no road markings no nothing, just buy any cheap Rickety scrap metal in nigeria jump inside it and off you drive.

Damn it, what is this useless NASS even doing, don't they read the news! Trailers should start having their own lanes! Or they should call other countries to find out how they transport heavy duty vehicles and knw how they do theirs to ensure this avoidable deaths aren't occurring, 86% of this problems are the drivers of this heavy duty, they have brake pad problems, clutch problems, head lamp problems, Gas problem and the annoying thing is that they know the truck isn't road worthy but they use it and kill people! I'm not going to wait till one day I'm going home and a truck fails brake and crush me to death!
