Bode George, a high chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to reopen the investigation into the untimely and unfortunate death of Funsho Williams. Funsho Williams was a PDP leader brutally murdered in 2006 during a time when he was gubernatorial opponent to Bola Ahmed Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC) Party. Another great Nigerian, Bola Ige, passed on amidst similar political uprisings.

According to George, it is commendable that Buhari has re-opened the Bola Ige murder case. The Funsho Williams murder case must also be re-opened.
