I so much appreciate boss, but why i haven't been able to think otherwise was recently he called me with a strange number and asked me to save the number as his new number, said he lost the other line and got the numbers back from icloud, thought he could use the opportunity to escape but he never did, pls i want to ask, is IRCC sending out biometric email at the moment that abuja VFS closed? i'm on 50/50 already, just hoping something good might come out with faith.

COVID-19 update: IRCC resuming processing of online applications for visitor visas and eTAs, but travel restrictions remain
Ottawa, June 30, 2020 – As of July 1, 2020, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will once again process online applications for visitor visas (including transit visas) and electronic travel authorizations (eTAs), to the extent possible.

Resuming processing and making final decisions where possible on visitor applications will help IRCC ensure future processing times aren’t significantly impacted and help expedite people’s travel when the travel restrictions are lifted.

However, due to current travel restrictions, applicants should keep in mind that, even if they apply and get a visitor visa or eTA, most people will not be able to travel to Canada at this time.

IRCC also continues to process study permit and work permit applications submitted online and permanent residence applications, to the extent possible. Paper applications for visitor visas, study permits and work permits will not be processed until further notice.

Measures have been put in place to make sure applicants have the time they need to complete all the steps in the application process, including giving their biometrics. Some visa application centres (VACs) are starting to reopen. Applicants can check the website for info on the VAC closest to them, so they can book an appointment to give their biometrics as soon as they’re able.

Those who are eligible to travel to Canada at this time must have a plan to quarantine for 14 days when they arrive in Canada. This is mandatory, even if they have no symptoms. Those who don’t have a plan should not travel to Canada.

We’ll continue to provide updates on further processing changes, including when the travel restrictions will be lifted.

Yes but can you prove that the money is available to you by the time you submit your visa application form?

Differ your admission till next year if possible.
Securing visa for Sept admission is impossible.

The world is confused for now, doubt if foreign embassy will open in Nigeria anytime soon.

Whenever I read about Agents and how much money people give to these guys I cringe. There should be ways to verify legitimate agents to spare you the trauma of having paid so much with nothing to show for it. You don't really need an Agent for anything. For all applications you need to make the steps are online somewhere, there are groups dedicated to such pursuits and then you really need to be honest with yourself on what your chances are.

For instance you cannot be 45 for example and think you have a shot using Express Entry or trying to use school admission to get in. The chances are slim to none. So up comes an agent and tries to convice you otherwise and you spend that money and regret right after.

hello house, pls i need your assistance, I applied for MPNP Workers in manitoba last June 15th 2019, through an agent here in Nigeria who said to have a connection with employer in Canada, i got an email from EOI Confirmed my entry, the process could not hand me any evidence other than they asking me for the necessary credentials, I got employment letter from the company i'm to work for, filled and sent back September 2019, i was assured by my agent that Biometrics will come up on dec 2019, when i waited and it passed, had to mail the employer, he said my agent in Nigeria is the one delaying, i made contact and he said they needed few more candidate to meet the quoter then already been sorted, they are applied for skilled workers in manitoba which i was told it excluded the test of english due to the program package, it's quite obvious they could ignore me because they have collected all the money asked, recently i made a contact with my agent in Nigeria and he said the delay happened due to the COVID 19 outburst and international airports are opening now as so do the Visa center. I haven't receive any biometric email yet from IRCC, pls kindly enlighten my route if i haven't fall in a wrong hands. thanks (I was to find out more and get more information so i can check the whole thing myself but confirmed the employer handlingthe process there could not give out the information) i'm just confused.

Honestly, when will all this agent stop this scam things, without provincial nomination certificate and selection from federal express entry, you can't get anywhere near biometrics. Please go to MPNP site and read about it all,the process and stages are all clear.it is what you can do by yourself.

I did paper application on 9th of March with my husband and son, we did biometrics same day. The only email we have ever got is from vfs saying that our Visa application has been received. We didn't even get the mail about biometrics that I usually see people talk about here.
I went to the CIC site and signed up an account using the GC key option then tried linking it my paper application as advised here.
I clicked "Add(link) your application to your account"
Then selected "Temporary Resident Visa"
The next thing I see is "Go to main account page"
When I click on it, it simply takes me back to the previous page ( ie. my main account page).

Pls what am I doing wrong?

Also I don't even know whether our application makes sense again coz our expected date of travel is 27th July �‍♀️. Our purpose of travel is family vacation.
If my fear is the case, how do we get our passport back esp as VFS hasn't opened. Also does that mean our Visa processing fee is gone like that �

Anybody can invite you to Canada,the inviting party just need proof of his status in Canada and finance but most important is your friend travel history ,home tie ,work and financial status in Nigeria..but from my experience most invitation like this are often refuse ,if the man is genuinely interested they should first meet at a neutral country face to face ,then he can invite her to Canada as a friend or fiancee with proof of their previous meeting and communication and if that did not work out ,the last option is genuine marriage and coming to Canada on a spouse visa ,Canada Spouse Visa enables Canadian citizens or permanent residents to sponsor a spouse or a common-law or conjugal partner living outside of Canada.

I think you are misleading people with this post.

You can apply for a supervisa for your parent at any time after you land so far you meet the requirements. You can apply even a month after you land so far you are employed and have a letter from your employer stating how much you earn and it is over the LICO as stipulated in the yearly LICO table. This info you have given is very inaccurate.

Also, where did you get your information from that you will not get a visa to visit the US just 6 months after you land? I am asking because I have friendssssssssssssssssssss that got US visas a few months after landing and by a few months, I am very certain it wasn't up to 6 months and they got their 10 years visitors visa. Your conviction in saying "you will be rejected" is mind-blowing

I believe you can get your visa without knowing anyone in Canada. You just need to have a strong tie back in Nigeria. Just state you are coming for vacation but then winter is not a good time for vacation here. You might as well tell them it's next year summer that you plan to come
