If given 5million Naira to venture into large/medium scale farming, how would you spend this money?

NOTE: Best pitch gets a chance of joining a small team to bring the idea into reality. Please no jam talks, be factual.

I'll use like 1m for fish farming.

Use another 1m to venture into poultry bizz.

Use like 500k for crops products.

Use another 500k star little livestock farming.

All these, if land is available sha.

Then, I'll open a fix deposit account with 2m, simply because, it's not good to put all your eggs in one basket.

I don't know about you but for me farming is just suffering self,am an ex farmer therefore I know what iam saying.with such huge amount of money I will only venture into storage business which more profitable than farming itself.thats buying during harvesting and resell during scarcity. E.g you can get maize 6k during harvesting and resell now at 16k,or beans at 10k and resell 25k now or get agusi at 7k now and resell up to 20k during scarcity. Or dry pepper at 9k and resell at 18k during scarcity.

I like your reasoning I like your vibe... But it's easy to say. When it comes to executing these then you will know what it takes, it's better to at least focus in just two out of the ones you stated and expand on them later. By the way, are you just saying or you already know how to do them?

#5million is a lot of money.

IF I have #5m today, within 5days 1 will have secured 20 Hectares (50 Acres) of land on annual lease. I will plant only Maize (getting late) and Cassava. #3.2million is sufficient to take the crops to harvest.

I will invest #1.5 in Palm oil storage (the easiest), with God's factor I will then wait and watch the money grow like grass within a year.

This storage of crops thingy. Do you like get a shop for the crops and store them or what? What's their life span regarding the amount of time they may get to spend before selling them out?

But, can one just use a random store then? And which states can one get these crops at their harvests to sell later?

Bro, you just highlighted the good side of the business which is what most people will like to hear. It is also good to let people know the risk in this storage business. If you go into it without experience and proper knowledge you will fail.

Price of stored items can go up or go down also like garri has been all time low since 2018,even beans until they pick up this at d 2nd half of this year also product get spoilt d to poor storage, not dried enough & attacked by pest.beyond 6months garri, beans, maize, Sorghum will go bad.
