Welcome to Nigeria, Sir.

We have terrible roads here.

I am managing my car presently, hearing some unusual noise (lower arm/ball joints) when driving. My reliable mechanic has travelled to his family home in another state for the Eid celebration.

I have parked my car, not going to drive it till he returns to have a look at it and fix it.

It’s best. I don’t play with suspension bits.

I've seen broken strut mount. The car wasn't rusted and that mounting point never had issues prior to then.

Una own na small...

I have seen 18-inch rims that warped due to my friend entering one bad pothole on high speed

Nigga didn't survive it cry

Till date, that event has made me scared of non-OEM rims...I can love-vendor my car to kingdom come, but I never change factory rims..

Hmmm.that one is big for sure.

I’ve never had a driveshaft break but a race buddy had one go on his Civic that was making over 1,000 hp.

Walai

When push comes to shove, I would rather have rims fitted by the Car Manufacturer than have shiny rims with questionable pedigree..

The key words are “questionable pedigree”.

Aftermarket wheel manufacturers like Enkei are actually OEM suppliers.

That's true Sir.

But this is Nigeria Sir where quality control is very lax or even non existent. Anybody can just import whatever rubbish they wish for sale to the Public

Sad thing is that if those rims give way on high speed, the driver may likely collide with another vehicle or pedestrians sef...

Those Chinko rims make roads unsafe for everybody...

This is Nigeria where being careful is only half of it..... Someone else's carelessness or negligence is even more likely to kill or maim someone in this country...

Really on point. Like i keep saying in Nigeria, when you are driving, you should also drive for car in front of you and behind. Be at alert, because you are not safe from mistake made by cars around you.

“Oga, trust me, na same thing, in fact e better pass anything else you can get for market, na me talk am.”
