Below are the difference? Every king in Igboland is called Eze. Why Eze, because in Igbo language Eze means head.
However, other nomenclatures are sometimes used to refer to them such as.
Obi — from Obi (a sacred courtyard) for the head of a family or village. The Obi gets him name from here because, as head, he settles and carries out spiritual and cultural functions here.

Igwee — is similar to how Yoruba say Kabiyesi. However, not every King in Igboland is hailed this way. Some are called Agu! Meaning Leopard. While others simply are addressed by the primary name Eze.
