Once you are 35, please go and adopt. It is not by force to give birth. It is much praiseworthy if you are able to parent an unwanted baby.

Anybody saying its a testimony after giving birth at 35 or 40 or 50 or 60, may be right; its a testimony to survive giving birth after 35. So Why be stupid and risk it?

giving birth late also causes the kids to have inborn deformities.

America is actually not good with childbirth. Nigeria is way better. Or put in another way, Nigerian gynaecologists are way better. Some people had horror stories giving birth there and they all agreed that back home, it woukd have been better managed.

So sad. I can't begin to imagine how the husband would be feeling now. After 10 years of doing everything possible to have a child, now this RIP

There is a very thin line between life and death, especially during childbirth. Escaping maternal mortality is sometimes beyond having best medical care...if this happens in Nigeria, I know some people will be attributing it to failed health system...this is USA for crying out loud.

May God in His infinite mercy grant pregnant lady/women reading this the grace to deliver safely without complications. Amen.

Pure bad luck, 'cos she probably had the best of medical care. Cold comfort to her husband/loved ones but at least the baby survived which may not have been the case if she delivered in Nigeria. RIP.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.

Actually the maternal and infant mortality rate in the US is high especially for black Americans. Forget whatever illusions Africans have about the place.

While the figures are somewhat abysmal for the USA being a developed country

It is WAAAYYYY better than any figure that comes out of any $hithole African countries

Especially in Nigeria, which has one of the highest in the entire planet

And in some states it's as high as one in four
This is what should be worrisome to Africans

she was 44 years. She has no business with childbirth

Hmmmm..... in Virginia.... just wondering if the doctors knew it was a high risk delivery ... told her... but she insisted on having the delivery..... after all.... she was waiting for 10 years... and having a baby is a must to get her people off her neck.
