You are an educated illierate. You should have researched to find out the US maternal death per Capita compared to Nigeria? Specifically, how many women have lost their life after childbirth in Fairfax, VA compared to similar city in Nigeria. Think before you talk! Slawormir: |

georgeiyke009: Please this is not true. I thought Nairaland is against posting false stories. Nigeria is among the worst places in the world for a woman to give birth. We are number 4. Only better than South sudan, Chad and Sierra Leone. Nigeria has higher maternal maternity ratio as compared to USA. Please do well to google all I have said. It is fact. You hardly hear of deaths during child birth in most developed countries, if you hear, it is most embolism issue. |

Mayflowa:And that is because of their non access to health care. American health care system is way better than ours. As you have rightly said, the maternal mortality ratio bears that fact. |

Kekereekun123:Adopting a child is a world of difference from giving birth to life, having your own biological child. Too bad she died, but millions of women around the world give birth at that age with no complications at all. I know a calabar woman married to a yoruba and she gave birth to 13 children, single births, no twins. Typical Igbo women tend to give birth yearly. The typical hausa woman doesnt even know anything about family planning. The morale of this sad incident is, when it is your time to go, even if you go to another planet there's no escape. This what the glorious Quran says about death: "When their specified time arrives, they cannot delay it for a single hour nor can they bring it forward,” (Quran16:61) And the holy Bible says: "All share a common destiny-the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. As it is with the good man, so with the sinner; as it is with those who take oaths, so with those who are afraid to take them." (Ecclesiastes 9:1) |
