I donot support this amnesty program wholeheartedly because it is not a democratic decision. Such a program should have had serious judicial and more importantly legislative input before implementation.

However on principle it is a very important tool for de-escalating the situation that I always term an impossible war to win militarily. There are few other practical options out there within our reach as a nation.
