Opening up to Nigerian Investors is just another way of saying you are exiting the country. Once Shoprite SA sell their Nigerian stake outright to Nigerian Investors, they no longer have ties to Nigeria unless they are considering selling based on a Franchise Model or selling a percentage of their stake in Shoprite. |

They're actually leaving, I confirmed it on twitter. All these is just to save face because some local investors are talking to take over their retail outlets - more of a franchise |

I really can't remember the last time I shopped at Shoprite. I haven't even been there this year. I remember a few years ago, it was my regular shopping point, but now I'll rather patronize the nearby supermarket in my area rather than going there. Most local supermarkets have upgraded to look like Shoprite and I like them that way. |

Nigerian politicians are cursed ba.stards . With all the billions they steal, they never use their head to do big businesses like shoprite, games, etc. They only steal money and waste it on prostitutes and buying useless empty houses all over the place. |

Nigeria is d only country in d world were richmen does anything he wants ,if u know how much profit these south African guys are making from us u will know that military men can't chase them out of Nigerian ,they said they want to open for investors ,they want to sell shares to minor investors ,80% of d money these guys are operating with are contributed by Nigerians while their profits are taken back to their country, just like mtn and dstv ,all their head quarters are in south Africa while their cash machines are Nigerians, d painful thing in it is that they came empty handed going back full |

Never believe a rumor until it has been officially denied. Etisalat once claimed they were not leaving Nigeria until we heard Isa Funtua's 9 Mobile had bought the firm. |
