You guys should stop deceiving yourselves. Which masses? Is it the docile ones?

That's how people will keep deceiving themselves for 20 more years and Nigerians will still be taking the suffering and smiling.

Nigeria has long expired. The youths don't care. The youths are only interested in online rants and tribal bigotry, who would bell the cat?

When I think of men like Nzeogwu, a youth who almost succeeded in liberating this country, I weep at the quality of today's youth.

Someone would come to nairaland and call himself pigipobhunter, arewabushboy, ipobhunter etc

Rest on Nzeogwu
Nigeria died a natural death in 1967. The moment the northern regional elites coaxed the western regional backstabbers that January 15, 1966 coup was Igbo, Nigeria went into coma and has never recovered since then. It probably will not recover despite all measured efforts.

you gat it all bro, when ever I see revolution, I just laugh... revolution can't happen in Nigeria, cos Nigerians aint gat balls, neither can we do shit, rather than sit in the comfort of their room and make noise on social media, Look at the case of George Floyd in the US, see how Americans hit the street in protest, but here in the failed backward entity called Nigeria, people are slaughtered day by day in southern Kaduna and indeed all over the country, our greedy leaders did their home work well, they have divided us already and hence we can't come together again to say enough is enough, the only remedy for Nigeria is just restructuring or division, but believe me the latter will work best.

Just too docile, the thing is alot of them don't care, they know Nigeria is bad but they've accepted it as normal. This country isn't even on track for anything, it's ready going backwards.
I refuse to accept this is normal, because some feel it's just turn by turn, that's why they find fulfillment in contesting for public office only to steal.

This country can never and will never work under democratic system of govt with the current constitution. A senior or junior military officer with vision needs to take over amend the constitution in line with the report from confab and return the government to democratic govt.
Why must we even run a democratic system of electing leaders at stipulated periods, can't we just do what will work for us. Copying western democracy is nonsense because it doesn't take note of oyr peculiarities and drawbacks.
Re: We Won’t ‘Calm Down', Nigeria Must Breathe By David Edremoda by Nobody: 8:45pm On Aug 04, 2020
You better calm down and divide the country into its constituent parts.

No be the entity wey dey alive dey breathe?

Na the same challenges wey Nigerians dey cry about in the 70s and 80s na im we still dey weep about for 2020, more than 40 years later.

And if we no break this yeye country, our shudren and dia own shudren go still dey complain about the same things 30/40 years from now.

no be by write long article or be behind keyboard and rant on social media.

the government has realised that the above is the least we can do no matter the oppression, that's why they take us for granted.

we need to leave our comfort zone, abandoned all our engagement & face the government through physical protest & tell them enough is enough
it can't happen so long as ders Hausa, Igbo n Yoruba. Each will say he is our brother..hi is our son. And asking em to unite n protest is like mixing oil n water. It won't happen

I can fully attest that Nigeria is way worse as a Democracy than Military. angry

Growing up in the 80's and 90's, things were way better than now. We enjoyed public water and better power supply. I can remember we used to watch t.v. a lot more due to more hours of power supply than now. There were no Agberos or stupid thuggery everywhere. sad

I think Military was a lot better than Democracy... Democracy isn't for Africans especially Nigerians! angry

E no go better for all 9ja Politicians since Independence, especially the ones from the 4th Republic! angry

You forgot to add Christopher Okigbo.

I have come this far in life because of Nzeogwu. Whenever I'm faced with a difficult situation, I ask myself, what would Nzeogwu do in this situation?
That would effectively be the end of that problem.
