Authorities in Lebanon have revealed the cause of the Beirut explosion that claimed lives, injured many and destroyed properties.

According to the statement on Beirut twitter handle @Beirut.com, the blast was allegedly caused by 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate.

The post read, “blast was caused by 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored unsafely in a warehouse.

“Beirut declared a “devastated city”, two-week state of emergency officially declared. #Lebanon.”

Even the Ammonia U mistook it for isnt unstable.. If it was unstable do U think it would b used in laboratories in schools? Ammonia nitrate is what's majorly used for fertilizers and fire crackers
