You're right. Nigeria is not worth dying for. Have you identified with any secessionist group in your region?

When a well educated person, who passed through Nigerian schooling system by him/herself,is at the helm of affairs the difference is always clear like 7up.

You are missing the point sir. It is not by numbers nor tactics, it is simply not a conventional war where the two sides are clearly demarcated, coupled with the fact that the NA is apparently compromised (infiltrated I dare to say). The Chadians may have had it easy because the BH hasn't prioritized Chad as the chief enemy. I make bold to further state that even if you move the entire Chadian army over to the Nigerian front, it will make little or no difference. The reason is simply; the BH is fighting the Guerilla style. Think of the situation as "the enemy within" kind of set-up. You can't tell who is BH and who is not, neither can you tell where they are and where they are not. They have "sleepers" all around. It is a frustrating war sir.

That's why we have DSS, Military intelligence etc. Boko haram aren't as hidden as you think. Some of us have lived in the north east, so we obviously know what's up. These people aren't ghosts, They have areas they gather and control firmly like a small country. It's just some people high in government sponsoring them and don't want this to end. Because the people in d north east sometimes have to personally eliminate boko boys they captured because their is 80% they will be released after they are handed to the authorities

What is wrong with this country self... Why can't our military artilleries defeat this Boko Haram.... I'm still trying to demystify how a small terrorist group will be over-powering our supposed "almighty" military in the same country where they both stay or are they now ghosts that can't be seen. Mr Governor can you pls keep quiet, where were you when the same Army were playing with the lives of your people... But you kept mute then but now crying wolf. Hypocrite fellow.... Spits!!! Mouthful!!!
You are a big fool what is almighty in Nigeria soldier rag tag fools that can't fight untrained almajeri

The DSS and other security outfits you mentioned in your comment are compromised. Any intelligence coming from them is relayed back to the BH and they take preemptive actions against the Nigerian state. See, the North-East is too vast and our northern borders are more porous than a basket. You will need millions of soldiers, not thousands, to cover such large swaths of land. The BH boys can retreat into Niger, Chad & Cameron if the heat gets much. They can also disappear into the masses and the army can't tell them apart. The locals are also in on this, some of them are benefiting from the insurgents. The good ones can't do much because their safety is not guaranteed and their neighbors would probably tell on them to the BH, I am sure you know what that spells for them. A soldier shot a fellow soldier simply because the other had killed too many of the BH boys. It made the news here sometime ago(can you beat that?). The man fighting next to you could turn around and empty his magazine on your body. Sir, it is scary out there.

but somehow I want to believe that the native indigenes can be empowered with military training to oust these BH guys. People who have lost their inheritance along with their fathers and brothers will definitely not be bought over by the same terrorists who occasioned them with that pain. An indigenous army will do wonders in that zone.

Lol. What you should know is this, in those villages, there are people gaining from the BH and there are those that have lost a lot. The latter can't breath because of the former. Also, the government can't arm civilians with military grade weapons for self defense. Are they going to fight BH with those WWII Dane guns? C'mon, what makes you think the locals can achieve what the NA couldn't?

In summary, boko haram already run the show in all our security agencies. Then we should just surrender and hand over power to them. Afterall I see no reason spending trillions on security if they can't even remove the rot on themselves

Abi ?
Negotiate. Give them their territory, form a strong defensive front around their area and let them be targeted by the French, US, Chadians etc, ie people who want to be rid of this terrorism menace. Because what's clear is that we're wasting tremendous money achieving nothing. And the service thieves are war profiteering.
I wonder what metrics they even brief him with ? No of terrorists killed ? We have captured Shekau ( Again, ) LGAs controlled ?
What happened to that BH wanted 50 list ,?
Etc etc etc
On this insecurity alone, Buhari's incompetence is unmatched. And as a "general", in security issues, he should be a subject matter expert.
So what for the "economy" under this man ?

Watch how this man will be attacked from all angles, if there's is no skeleton in his cupboard to use as blackmail, if they promise him something big like president or any tasty position and he refused, they might just kill him... Straight up......
