Obaseki is a disgrace to democracy.

The law makers ran to Abuja to stay with their father oshiomole for more than a year after they were duly elected by their constituents.. The constitution say that when an elected officer refuses to resume his post of office within three months, the seat will be declared vacant.. They abandoned their state to stay in Abuja because the governor wanted somebody else to be the speaker.. As of now by law, they are not even members elect anymore.. Their seats have been declared vacant long ago..

I wonder if these two 'changeover' parties are the only registered parties with candidates.

Why are we always playing the fool? Why do we keep making it look like these already made old guys are the only hope of solution to our problems? Have we ever talked about other candidates or at least, search to know more about them, their manifestos and credibility?

We do this every year! Another opportunity to take back the mandate for a suitable candidate is gradually slipping away and boom, we are back to wailing for another 4years.

What is the difference between Oshio and Oba? It's just the party name. Both Oshio and Oba are fighting for same reason...to have a GRIP on Edo, not for the people of Edo. I hope it will not be late when we wake up to the reality that these politicians are the cause of our problems in the first place.

All of you supporting this impunity exhibited by Obaseki will cry. Shebi when be inaugurated the house in the dead of the night you'all were hailing him, he's about to be paid in his own coin but fools like you will remember the house member ran to Abuja.
