Sky in the UK has a Channel called "Sky Box Office" and it's offers premium content and you have to pay per view separate from your normal sub even DSTv i think also have a box office feature where you pay and watch a movie for some days aside your normal sub...That been said, i think the only outrage here is the price Disney has fixed for streaming the movie.

Charging one's customers extra on a paid streaming service is a risky move. There is no precedent and no way of knowing if customers wont revolt agaisnt such charges.

Disney has billions of dollars, so why not be patient and wait for a cinema release?

Also consider the fact that netflix produces films but does not charge extra for its film releases on its streaming services.

In other words, your competitors charge less for what you are about to offer. Risky.
