Asa the Afonja woman should be on that list too. She was the first woman I bought her album

Hausa women nor get talent?

They are in za oza room.

Jokes apart though, religious views have sentenced Hausa females to a life of child breeding.

If given the same opportunities their southern counterparts are given, they will do well.

lolz......that is true, they looked kind of alike both in appearance and voice. You can't be blame thinking it was Funmi Adams that did the song though, I am certain a lot also didn't know. In fact I personally knew much more later, maybe because Funmi Adams was more popular though

Everything has changed.

Those were days ladies wore full atire to shoot their videos. Even the likes of oyenka who dressed funky were on leggings and knee length T-shirt. Not the rubbish they do now.

Honestly even with those full attires, they will still be very much beautiful and attractive with their jerry hair most times cheesy. Coincidentally I listened to most of these songs on my phone just yesterday and was discussing with a friend about them, the nostalgia was just too much
