If i was the president of Nigeria, I will offer any industrial start up car production company a 5 years tax break and a lot of other governemnt fringe benefits and immense support and finance.

Reason being do you know how many tokunbo cars are being imported with dollars to Nigeria every day

If local companies fill the void, trust me the sky is the limited and even the fall in the demand for foreign cars alone would bring in the necessary balance of trade surplus the whole country needs

What I observed in the pictures is basically coupling of different components of vehicle imported from somewhere else. The factory I saw there is too simplistic for complete manufacturing of vehicle. Are the engines produced there? What about the windscreens, tyres, upholstery, electrical accessories, etc, are there units manufacturing them at the IVM factory? I doubt.
