I'm not surprised at all cuz 95% of Nigerians are Gullible afterall. What money did they have prior to being in office? Just like giving N30 to get back N1,000. That's more like it.

They all know Nigerians are such gullible and docile bunch who won't bother to question them regardless. They spend... even take a loan to get political posts knowing they'll embezzle 100 times of whatever they spend.

Of course, the foolish and stupid citizens of Nigeria rather than questioning the corrupt activities of these Miscreants as done in every sane society... they instead hail, praise, adulate and celebrate them in turn of cheap favors at the expense of millions of poor, innocent citizens.

Oga as far as I know politics in Nigeria is not a business venture for the poor man .We all know they embezzle once they get into office (that is not even news anymore ) but to contest and win even a common local government chairman position you have no idea the millions these guys spend it is not what the average Nigerian can afford normally so better know that

I cannot understand why this OP will commend this senator spraying his constituents money. I think EFCC should be called to investigate this senator's finances and he should explain how he's able to lavishly spray such amount of money.

At some point a full 85% of the Nigerian public became worshipers of wealth above all else, regardless of its source, and regardless of whether that wealth is spent wisely as charitable investments, or squandered foolishly on musicians, flashy cars and running for political office with an eye on the cash sharing that is routine among "public servants" in Africa.

This thread, and all the glowing tributes pouring from so many wealth worshipers falling over each other to honor a fugitive cocaine smuggler, beings to mind the comical outpouring of grief in Colombia, when Cocaine Kingpin Pablo Escobar was finally gunned down by the police after a long chase.

Regrettably, the wealth-worshiping OP now speaks for the MAJORITY of Nigerians who have come to regard the entire spectrum of felony crimes as legitimate business endeavors, and who fawn over the rich in the hopes of qualifying for a cash tip, irrespective of whether those rich people they worship might be internet fraudsters, human organ traffickers, ransom kidnappers, armed robbers or politicians-for-profit.
