Many of you don't understand the complexities of your own country. I can assure you now that all those things you think an Ibo president will be able to do for the SE will not happen.
You only need to look at what Obasanjo, Jonathan and Buhari have been able to achieve for their respective regions in relation to other regions.
Only a SE government in a proper federation can truly develop the SE.
between the three past presidents only buhari has made genuine efforts to re-position his origin. Most of the n-power awardees come from North, there is kano-kaduna rail, there is Lagos to Kano rail, there is AKK; Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano gas pipeline, there is oil drilling on-going in the lake chad basin, he introduced BH deradicalization agenda, and much more. A nigerian president is very powerful. GEJ had no spine and couldn't favor his region, as for OBJ; his spout/vindictiveness with Tinubu in Lagos and Afenifere entirely ensured he didn't revamp his region. He even seized allocations to Local governments in Lagos just to frustrate Tinubu. Refused to build lagos-ibadan expressway. In both past southern presidents you can see they either lacked spine or had disunity in their region. If we can produce a man like Umahi I'm sure he'll address the lopsided infrastructure in SE. Go to ebonyi state and see for yourself. No doubt true federalism is the way to go, but if we can't get that why not settle for the next best thing which is presidency? SE campaigning for true federalism is akin to dashing SW the presidency cause northern Nigeria will vehemently oppose any southern region that wants to take away their stronghold on the rest of Nigeria. So we need the presidency its the only feasible feat, and not federalism or biafra. All we need is go on diplomacy and negotiation fulltime, already being the only southern zone not to have presidency is generating enough sympathy even in ss; Edwin Clarke supported it coming to SE. Let's not get carried away by restructuring and biafra and lose our best chance please. If we lose this and sw gets presidency, it's going to be 16years again before we get it cos sw rules 8years and North rules another 8years. Best chance is now don't be distracted.

But you guys always claim Amaechi is Igbo! I can't imagine opposing a Yoruba from Kwara or Kogi because that will be insane. Ameachi is an Igbo man I can trust what is your problem with that?

When it suit us.... all na to our benefits. She I yoruba people since the days of Awolowo have been trying so hard to divide east and south because of oil politics grin

We’re helping you with the divide.... he’s a southerner not igbo.. after all Yoruba said ikwere no be igbo and are from Benin

You made sense when you said every party has right to contest..

Now
Majority according to yoruba media... igbos have minister governors, diplomats, ambassadors in this government...

yet the south yoruba claims has better chance to igbos have no Apc governor..
Yoruba wish Ameachi to any Igbo even if he’s the only Apc humN in the region grin out of igbo hatred grin

Igbos are majority in both Apc and pdp ...

Is like saying Yoruba majority in Apc which is a fallacy... cheesy or we ask bode George

yes if amaechi wants to contest we Yoruba's will support it soo much and make sure he wins he has tried for buhari and his SS people don't insult northerners

Buhari and APC got less votes in 2019 than 2015 in the SW. APC lost Oyo state to PDP in 2019 and there PDP has a stronghold in the SW.
Now that Igbos know the propaganda by Yoruba Muslims, it's time to start showcasing Igbos and doing counter propaganda to avoid what happened in 1966 when Major Ademulegun and Nzeogwu planned a coup the Yorubas succeeded in terming it an Igbo coup. They are back at the old trick again

Who in the South can give APC victory in Aso Rock? Thats the challenge ahead. Whoever it is, gets the APC ticket.

U r still not getting it. The Yoruba's are not ur problem if u play ur politics right.
All u have to do is form alliance with d north and its a done deal.
Its simple arithmetic: 2 against 1.

You r looking in d wrong direction!
The challenge u guys are having is dt u have refused to accept responsibility for ur actions in breeding unnecessary beefs with other regions hence ur cold feet in taking d plunge!

They can never be president. They have burnt all the bridges. Is the north they call all manner of names or the yorubas they abuse day and night they want to align with? Or middle belt people they insult at any opportunity? They are in a fix. No presidency, no biafr.aud. the only option they have is to wail till eternity. You want to become president in a country you call zoo?
Dem go cry and beg tire. They will be on their knees crying, wailing and begging till they change for the better.

Make Yoruba go to primaries with igbos or they boycott... is easy

Yoruba are stiff scared of igbos contesting Apc primaries

Reason why they keep connecting igbos to pdp

Forgetting igbos are also major in Apc...

What else...

Take it easy.
Nobody can stop the Igbos in Apc from contesting the primaries, after all Okorocha contested it in 2015.

with how many state ? just five states can Biafra survive cuz south South can't join them
Qsand:
All those thieves and criminals in persons of Orji Kalu, Amaechi, Supreme Governor etc are as good as northerners. Those cowardly bandits disguised as thieves do not have the support of Igbos. They are just as bad as Tinubu.

As for presidency, it's too late. Whoever thinks the hausa-fulani - the drunk, power hungry cow suckling retards will cede power to a COMPETETENT Igbo man like Peter Obi to become president is more delusional than one who sees Tinubu as a saint.

To hell with your 2023. Just last year, I was against nnamdi Kanu and for one Nigeria, hoping things might just get better. But the scales have fallen from my eyes, the gutter kicking cabals will borrow Nigeria until it has no shred of sovereignty left, while waiting lives of Nigerian soldiers and recruiting Boko idiots. The killings will know no end. Hausa-fulani will never ever let any Igbo man bring or attempt to bring restructuring to this country.

This Bush forest called Nigeria has expired. It's time for we Igbos to go and if Yoruba have a shred of wisdom, they will as well, go their own way. This isn't a matter of tribalism but of survival. Go and eat your 2023 presidency. We want Biafra. Whether it's Nnamdi Kanu or South East governors leading the charge, I couldn't care less. Whether it's called Biafra, I couldn't care less. I just want us to be separated from those backward thinking Sahara dwellers. Yorubas ate more United than we Igbos and if they wanted to secede, they'd certainly be more likely to achieve it.

Let us separate from these people before it is too late. South East governors that have sense, please put aside your greed and fight for us let the UN hear our cries and grant us independence.

I think the worst mistake Igbo youths either by advice from their elders or just ignorance, is to turn your best friends in Nigeria into enemies.

What have you gained. You need Yoruba for any of your demands either for President or Biafra.

The North would rather commit suicide (it won't happen) than see an Igbo President. They know the consequences each time an Igbo or Biafran is the Oga at the Top
