u will cry more when Buhari's tenure finishe and the north decided to go again. They are talking about equity while most of u are pushing bigotry. In equity nobody loses, but if this what u guy's wishes let see how that will strength our unity as a nation.
Dhur!
And who has been (and is still) 'crying a lagoon' as we speak?

You don’t have choice...

Kalu and other interested igbos will contest APC primaries and the whole Yoruba tribe can’t do nada

Make Yoruba go to primaries with igbos or they boycott... is easy

Yoruba are stiff scared of igbos contesting Apc primaries

Reason why they keep connecting igbos to pdp

Forgetting igbos are also major in Apc...

What else...

They want Nigerians to believe that Igbos are not in APC even when Hope Uzodinma is Governor of Imo State and the whole state assembly is APC except for one PDP member.
Ogbonnaya Onu is a founding member of APC, Ngige is still there.
The fact that Igbos question injustice in APC makes Yoruba Muslims to tag them as anti APC

Look, all these talks about Igbo presidency in 2023 is rubbish. To see what Igbo will do to Nigeria just take a look at what they have done to their own region. Simple! Go back to review what they did in GEJ administration. Total recklessness and ruin. Nigeria needs to move forward. Yoruba has proven consistently that they are the best and most competent in building and progressing society. Nigeria urgently needs progress, Nigeria needs, and will get Yoruba in 2023.

U r still not getting it. The Yoruba's are not ur problem if u play ur politics right.
All u have to do is form alliance with d north and its a done deal.
Its simple arithmetic: 2 against 1.

You r looking in d wrong direction!

I agre me totally with your comment.
But do you know that those that abusing and breaking the bridge with other regions are far more than those that are building the bridge.
Wait till this thread gets to 4 pages and try to read all the comments. Then you will see what I’m talking about.
We can’t do without ourselves. Politics shouldn’t be something that we should be fighting ourselves for.
Let all regions in the south contest and we support the winner at the end of the day.

Yorubas will only support a contestant from Anambra state among SE states.

The reason is simple

MKO Abiola won in that state alone in 1993 as SDP presidential candidate. While Imo, Enugu, and Abia states gave their votes to NRC in an election that MKO Abiola won Kano state, the home state of the candidate of NRC that our igbo brothers voted massively.

The hatred is not today.

hmm!

All we are asking is for APC and PDP to zone their presidential slot to Igbo.

APC should give their presidential ticket to an Igbo man, PDP should also give it's presidential ticket to an Igbo man, and the agitation for Biafra will die a terrible death.

Is that too hard for Nigerians??

As it was done to Yoruba & Hausa, when both PDP & APC fielded presidential candidates from the same Region, let it also be done to Igbo

How much victory did SE bring to APC in 2015? Your relationship with APC in 2020 is worse than in 2015. APC did not win Imo, Uzodinma had to be rigged in to give you representation in APC.

Fear fear Yoruba man ...... balderdash!

You people should go and face your fears... at Apc primaries

Igbos will contest primaries in Apc ... deal with it.. and if they win primaries.. is it

No amount of Yoruba blackmail and smear campaign will stop the primaries...

Pdp is a difference from Apc ... if Yoruba vex make them contest pdp primaries..

All those Apc Yoruba gibberish is stale...

If Yoruba vex make them boycott.. its simple.

Boycott the party they helped create? That is not going to happen.

bannylove13 I agree, that comment was less diplomatic and too isolatory. If you are igbo you have to be very careful how you reply yoruba persons campaigning for SW to produce APC candidate. You should disagree in a diplomatic and tolerant tone. Let other regions not see us as unbefittting, or found morally lacking in bridge building. Just my mind.

Too late.

their is a lot of sense in what u said, but my question remains as an igboman how will an igboman becoming the president of Nigeria help the cause of average igboman? Considering the facts that our leaders both past and present has never represented the yearnings and aspirations of an average igboman? Is on record zik never see himself as an igboman, same with Michael okpara , look at the present governor's , they are neither here nor there. I have never pushed igbo presidency with passion before, I don't see it as necessary because I know they will never represents their people, why u see the yurobas pushing for ethnic representation because they know their people are tribalistic in nature. Please try and reply me ASAP.

Why should we do that? This is not like the Abiola case where the winner was robbed. What would the basis for doing that and why shouldn't we do the same for the remaining 250 groups in Nigeria?

The issue is about Trust. You don't give power to someone you don't trust bcoz he might use the power against you and your interest.

That's the issue, no stories. We should tell ourselves the crux of the matter.

It is undemocratic to say Ibos cannot contest in the primaries, of course they can contest as long as they are members of the party.

Igbos must start countering Yoruba on this new propaganda of igbos are major in pdp only..

Igbos are majority in the two parties...

Check 19’ elections and see how much vote igbos have Apc

Same igbos are-ministers governors diplomats in same Apc government

Yet Yoruba out of fear will shout igbos and pdp

Na so dia propaganda Dey take start ... play play testing waters ... to unleash the very propaganda

The earlier igbos counter this the better

Make we all head to Apc primaries... north east south all of us...

Smear campaign and propaganda by Yoruba on Apc and igbos failed before the start
