Prince Ishola Foundation Earmarks N500Million To Fund Education For Orphans, Less Previledged In Nigeria


A non governmental organisation in Nigeria has launched an educational scholarship scheme to support the academic attainments of orphans and underprivileged children across Nigeria. The Scholarship Scheme was launched by Prince Ishola Foundation during its humanitarian visit to HOPE TO SURVIVAL ORPHANAGE at Gishiri, Abuja, few yesterday.

During the visit and reach-out exercise to the Orphanage Home, Prince Ishola, the Founder and President of Prince Ishola Foundation, Prince Ishola Abiodun Olatunbosun officially Unveiled the Prince Ishola Foundation Scholarship Scheme as he earmarked 500million naira to Fund the educational requirements for Orphans and less privileged children across Nigeria.

Prince Ishola Foundation distributed lots of relief materials including books, academic material, food stuffs and other aides to support the Orphanage home, giving children hope and a sense of belonging. Speaking during the visit, Prince Ishola Abiodun assured the kids that they won't be forgotten and that he would do everything possible to continually invest in the educational needs of underprivileged children in Nigeria.

The children and other beneficiaries of the outreach by Prince Ishola Foundation and it's team expressed appreciation to the Foundation, as they prayed for the grace and bountiful provision of God upon Prince Ishola and his Team so as to be able to continually touch lives and give hope to underprivileged children across Nigeria, especially in the area of education.

Prince Ishola Foundation was accompanied by its media partners, King Fajag, Alexreports and high level Beauty Queens and the distinguished presence of Her Majesty,
Ayo Michaelson FDN Queen 2018/19 and Joy Omanibe FDN Queen 2019/20.
The reach-out exercise and support will be continued across all states in Nigeria and especially in Osun State, where the Founder hails from.

What is he into to have earmarked 500 million naira to fund free education for orphans. My first thought is why use these innocent kids for cheap publicity but come to think of it,its Alex and his supposed beauty queens.
The prince that has earmarked half a billion for scholarship can't even spare the kids relief material worth up-to 500 thousand naira. Enough of these nonsense if you want to help just help no need for all these paparazi.

LOL. While this appears to be a good gesture, to me, it's more of a branding or publicity campaign than an actual charitable deed.

The way desperate people use the poor for their selfish ambition in our society baffles me.

You are saying how much is exercise book,before you voted in all your popular politicians and the rest,did they at least give you a pencil not to talk of an exercise book?even if what he is doing is for publicity,atleast he is doing what other popular people who you trusted with your votes did not and could not do.

I am sure that if we follow up the so called charitable man, he probably doesn't have even 10 million earmarked for any orphan, talk less of 500 million. If you're willing to accept or promote lies, it's your choice.

Even the bible admonishes us to do good in silence. I don't have to brag about what I have done for people but it's definitely much more than sharing exercise books and posting on social media.

The question here is how much did your political leaders give to you either publicly or secretly before they became popular enough for you to cast your votes,this is somebody trying to make a change here by being charitable in his own way and the only thing you can do Is to criticize him,haba,it's not right,how many nairalanders have you helped secretly (since that's your way)?have you ever gone to schools before to make pencil donations?how many beggars have you seen on the way and dropped sth no matter how little it is for them,but here you are criticising,it's well o.

Your comment shows how little you know about how orphanages and other homes for special kids operate.
In most cases orphanages don't allow cameras into their facilities to protect the privacy of the kids. And while visiting your mission must be clearly stated. The truth of the matter is that the orphanage in question my be getting some very serious visitors from the FCT department of social welfare.
