I grew up in the village , we were mainly hunters and farmers with no education. And we could sleep in the thick forest for years because of rice farm, hunting of animals and only to return home(village home)during December for the yelutide. We ate all manner of creatures; monkey, even snake eggs and got bitten by them , yet we are still alive. The first time I visited hospital in life was during my uni days(I had to do medical clearance in my year one). Just the way this generation kids welcome their parents back home and take the bread from his hand was the same way we welcome our parents from hunting and take bush meat(that was our bread and snacks, daddy did you kill animal for me..was our question) from him. I will never forget how we use the intestine of grasscutter for pepper soup and fried the fat to eat yam. We cooked cow blood to eat. It becomes solid like liver , disgusting to me now. As kids we were using money tales to play , flogging each other

Though the Chinese people eat weird food , but I still think there's something much more. It could be spiritual

Lol. I'm not in support of the way Nigerians eat everything they see, but at least there're still some things we don't eat. Hardly will you see Nigerians eating frogs, eels, cockroaches etc.

Lol. The good old days. For me personally then bush meat consisted of animals like grasscuters, deers, antelopes, rabbits, etc. There were boundaries. As for most other animals we usually killed them for security sake, but never ate them.
