And you expect someone that wakes to this environment everyday to be normal.
Our public university hostels are all in a similar state; but the students there are consoled by the fact that the condition is transient. Max 4-5 years and they're out searching for a better life.
But for these officers, this is their lives. Their daily reality. When you know you're stuck in a horrible place for probably the rest of your life,it deals with your psyche mehn.
The reason our police force is so wicked, heartless,angry, unprofessional and simply bad is because of the horrible living conditions these officers are subjected to; it's a no-brainer.
The Nigerian Police force is the most underfunded of all forces on the planet.

They should fix it with all the roger they have been collecting.

Left for me, all police officers can live in holes or even die like rats, they deserve every evil they get.

Truth be told, The average Nigeria policeman is really suffering.

Build mansion for them, after 6 months you won't recognize it again, the Hilux and other vehicles donated to the NPF, after 6 months you won't recognize anyone of them also. There is nothing you can do to remove spirit of destruction from the Nigeria police.

How can one who can't maintain his uniform maintain where he lives.

The govt have failed the state. Youths are not ready as they the old presume, hence its gullible to hand over some internal affairs for them to overlook.

If as depleted as the police qarters can be how much more their wages and salaries. It will not just come in delayed also slow promotion standard for these officials.

Police are human just like every other being, but their pledge was to serve and protect. Now tell me an officer coming out of these shit hole quarters will see a vibrant young man with expensive perfume and wrist band and dred-locks and he will tag him/her a Fraudster.

Becoming an official i will not take the fight to the street where civilians are not armed, i will take it to the state Executive/legislative where those men are armed with our MONEY and FUTURE.

Feds ain't doing anything for the NGpolice. If you witness their training ground you will see the harsh conditions these men are melt with. Feeding/Accommodation is a total mess. No police official will use his/her little wage to build a quarters. LOOK at the TWYFORD Waste is 1970 edition. Who foresee it, if not a Young vibrant youth that took those pictures. No inespection or whatsoever because they are busy signing off Trillions of USD.

On a more serious note, federal government is trying their best but some set of the police ogas embezzled the junior staff welfare money. That's why majority of them take laws into their own hands by demanding exorbitant money from their clients(yahoo Boys,Oloshos, harm robbers, kidnappers and the skull minners).

On the other hand, I think it curses that are affecting them too. If your papa, mama or any relatives of yours is into this police job, you need a total deliverance oh because the curses these people do receive everyday cannot be quantify.
